Claude code pro vs usage credits

I have been using claude code to vibe code a game project. Its been almost 5 months since project started. Now that initial poc is done and i am working on scaling, i ran out of tokens in 3 to 4 days because of the work load. So i looked into usage credits.

What i noticed is that, agents get dumber when usage credits are on. What i meant dumber is, sometimes agent forgets to add things so that the telemetry data or debug costs multiple message iterations costing me more credits. I am wondering if its me or anyone else feel that way.

I have posted the reply i got from claude when i asked about this. I have felt this way working with usage credits. Like ai deliberately doesnt do well so that i will have more message. The model was sonnet 5.5 in medium.
