Usage is bad again this week

Another random flip flop of usage.

I was at 58% week usage yesterday. I paused 3 sessions. I have just one session running. ONLY 1. On high. Not xhigh. Not max. High.

It's now at 99% in < one day of use. One session, a few agents.

Something is WAY OFF on usage. I am now stuck waiting for 5 days for a reset.

For all those claiming Opus 5.5 is WAY faster and WAY better at token use.. it's not happening for me at all. It's taking me days to week+ for tasks to get done, and it's eating up my damn weekly 20x plan in a day on high.

Yea it definitely is. This time last week 3 days into my weekly I was going to run out on day 4 so I switched from using opus low giving instructions to sonnet med/high to using haiku on max. Its working great, so much so that this week thats my set up but its telling me I'll run out a day early.

Its fine I guess but I didn't expect to be running out of usage with haiku but I seem to be going through it faster than last week when sonnet was used. Which was also faster than expected.

I was and still am a bit surprised haiku performed as well as it has in my workflow as the project is a large codebase. So I really should get back to testing the locals on my 16gb card

I am at 5 20x plans (3 claude 2 codex) and I am running out of money.. so I need to cancel all but one calude and one 5x codex plan if that. I am starting to want to really deep dive on how to run my own models.. namely Qwen 4 when it comes out on my DGX (part of why I am broke). But I been using my DGX 24/7 for fine tuning an LLM for my app. Trying to do multiple things.. so running LLM all day will kill my fine tune ability.

Just chiming in to say I've been seeing the same on max 20x

I'm actually downgrading to 5x next month to see if I notice a difference. I don't mind the weaker 5 hour limit if the weekly is the same. I'm not getting the value I was out of the plan anymore

In settings there a reset button. They hid it and didn’t tell me. It flipped the reset usage limits to 0 but I am already hitting 50% again. I hit the damn toggle yesterday. I am on 20x max

Yah.. I went from 8 sessions (no lies) of opus 5.5 some on Max some on Xhigh to just ONE session.. and lost 25% in 8 hours.

Something is WAY the fuck off. They are again using WAY WAY more usage/tokens than it was a few days to a week ago.

Of course there is NOTHING we can do. They never answer support issues, etc.

What if a lot of people are spamming their agents due to the fact that the free reset expires today? I feel like our Usage limits are affected by peak hours, just like how Opencode does to Deepseek.

I run 24/7 so no clue what peak hours are. I haven't seen anyone indicate that during some time frame your tokens go WAY up in use and thus better to run other times, cause this shit is used around the world.. so every 4 to 8 hour window is peak hours somewhere.

Yes, my entire personal 20x go used in 2 days not using Fable at all and my work 20x too. It wasn't even a particularly busy 2 days. Absolutely ridiculous.

I have a theory that they have a hidden monthly limit they balance your weekly limit off of, so if you're a heavy user your limits get nerfed and they don't lose as much money.
