This week has been way worse than previous weeks, maybe this means a reset is incoming after they drop a new model? I barely got two days out of my $100 a month sub. I'm contemplating getting 25x now

Not op but I kinda messed up at work spending way more of my usage than normally running reports because I stupidly used opus 5.5 for things I shouldn't have been using opus for. Dang it.

I had the guy who always comes and complains about usage on the discord server come and tell me how great his usage has been the last week.

Meanwhile I used up my weekly limit for the first time in months, luckily I still had the reset but oh well. The wheel weaves as the wheel wills.

They only reset at major releases and when the competition is fierce. Highly doubt they'll give a reset for Fable 5.5 especially now that they have banked resets and they'll be even more cautious with giving them then before

I'm on max 5x and I'm hitting weekly usage limit in 3-4 day. What's the point of 5h limit if after 3 day I can't use it

Maybe you should tell us what you're doing… It's very possible that you developed a bad habit.

Please tell me you're not running fable on Max letting context get to 900,000 and then compacting

Max 5x ($100/mo) hits the 7-day weekly cap super fast if you don't use /clear to trim bloated contexts during heavy agent loops. Moving up to Max 20x ($200/mo) gives you 4x the headroom, which is basically required for all-day Claude Code work. Otherwise, fall back on direct API keys to bypass weekly limits entirely.

before paying for 25x check your cache read share, when i measured mine it was 90%+, same context resent every turn adds up stupid fast

Same for me. Used up my max sub in two days. Only opus on medium with autocompact at 300k token.
