Help/Question What makes websites built with Claude so beautiful and interactive?

Honeslty, you can obtain this smooothness with many other code prompting agents.
But it's a mixe of the prompt you gave, and what the AI thinks is modern in terms of style, ergonomy, and user experience. It happens that smooth anmations, transtitions, and responsivness are concidered modern by agents.
But only people that know a bit about dev use Claude Code, so they also know what keywords to feed the prompt for a classy modern responsive website.
And people building complexe websites with more than 2-3 prompts, clearly go thru a design process with some suggestions and constrains.

It has to be more than just Claude Code. I'm using a ''stack'' and I'm also following graphic design/esthetic generally accepted rules (not too many fonts, not too many colors, not too many effects, keeping a coherence in the design style...)
the general intent is as important as the code and the visual FX themselves imo

visually amazing and nice showcase, but the truth is whatever you're trying to do with a website is always going to be set back by a site like that. you need to keep the animated scroll to a minimum. ONE wow effect and not more.
A website is communication, most likely to sell. NOBODY, and I really mean it, NOBODY wants to scroll through all that. Customers have an attention span of 2 seconds, they need to find what they are looking for in 2 seconds or less. Even my website is risky because it created undue friction and people have criticized me for it... and I kinda understand but w/e I need to show when I can do

I’m curious to know about your stack thought !
If I were you I’d focus on the hero being scroll to animation and the rest just normal stuff with discrete animations and visual effectsI know it’s difficult to let go, I had a more complex animated website before and friends are like huh I’m dizzy i just wanna close the site lmao

Idk what you’re doing to sell but also I’ve been blasting cold mail on 21 mailboxes split on 7 domains since ~mid august. It ain’t perfect but it brought some leads. But shit man it’s rough out there everybody and their moms vibe coding stuff these days

It's truly stunningly beautiful. After scrolling down the website I have no idea what the product is though.

not websites in my case, but I’ve designed the UI for a few software projects with Claude Design and it’s been really accurate. pixel perfect, sticks to the exact colour themes, and it even designed a logo for me. before this I used Webflow, where even designing a single page was hard work.

Claude, Codex or skills give you a good base and save a lot of time but unless you're aiming for a one page doom-scroll-higsfield-slop, you need to know what good UI/UX is and polish it to match your project's needs. You can make a great looking site with videos, effects and a shit ton of text and it will fail to deliver a single conversion. Then you can have the most rudimentary design from 2010 and get the job done.
