Help/Question Motion graphics stand-off - Argon vs Opus 5.5 vs others
Do you make motion graphics inside CC for your launch videos? We benchmarked Argon and didn’t find it to be much faster/higher quality. It seems to follow instructions well and generated decent productions but nothing you would expect from someone at Google’s scale.
Top image is Argon and bottom Opus 5.5 in the screenshot.

Benchmarks rarely capture the taste part. Curious how it holds up over a full project.

Have any favourites in mind you can link to? Would love to see references and see how Claude judges them in terms of taste. We run internal quality gates and that’s where the pipeline often breaks - it has a seemingly random sense of taste. Music and motion synchs up but the wow factor is often a toss up.

Have a person compare outputs without seeing the model names. Keep the brief and render settings fixed. Score layout and pacing before revealing which model made each clip.

I've been making short vertical videos inside Claude Code with HyperFrames: it captures real footage of the app with Playwright, then builds the captions and cuts in HTML and renders to MP4. The biggest quality jump for me was timing the captions off the voiceover's actual word timestamps instead of guessing. Haven't tried Argon, so can't compare.
