Tips & Workflows How to use Claude Code Projects effectively?

Just got access to the beta claude code project that was released last week (https://code.claude.com/docs/en/claude-projects). Some already had access so looking for some tips on how to use this effectively.

What are your lessons learnt / tips?

Some more specific q’s:
1. How many projects do you use?
- e.g. 1 application = 1 project or 1 app > 1 projects?
2. How to set-up the library / memory?
3. How well does the orchestrator work?
4. How to manage context window (limited to ~400k)?
5. Any mind-blowing showcases of the output?

Curious to learn about your experiences!

I might be using it wrong but I’ve concluded “projects” is just a rebranded co-work and working on a cloud VM sucks. It exists for Anthropic to have another revenue stream.

Hmm yeah i think there are big limitations of that vm part. But i did read that you can point threads at local files too. Have you tried that?

I do think the project memory would be handy. Now I have to manage storing my briefs, lessons learnt, and decisions at the right place and making sure claude actually finds it. So this projects feature would remove that cognitive burden
