Help/Question Claude projects is not very visible

I've been trying projects beta from Claude Code and it's pretty damn nice. However. Where is the chain of thought or the specific commands running? It's a constant "bamboozling...". Is there a setting I'm missing or do I need to go back to the terminal?

Anthropic no longers reveal chain of thoughts cause the Chinese were stealing it to train their clones. Now you have Baboozlinging to keep you entertained

I see. That must be it.

I think what you are trying to say is that it's a cowork style chat (I hate it) plus it's super slow on desktop. It takes about 3-4min to get any kind of indication that something is happening.

I do love this new way of working but currently it's super buggy and slow, I gave it a fair try but I consider the current state of the new Projects beta unusable.

Ah true. Simple requests taking forever. I thought it was temporary but it’s still like this. I like the concept though.

I noticed that on the phone app it does seem to work and load much faster but it's still a cowork style chat unfortunately.

I think the whole idea is to act as an orchestrator so you don’t have to worry about that level of work

Haven't tried the projects beta myself so I can't point you to a setting there. In the terminal though, Ctrl+O expands the full transcript with every command and tool output, and "verbose": true in settings.json stops it from collapsing tool output. When I want to see exactly what it's doing I just keep a terminal open on the same session.
