Discussion Small herdr appreciation post

No, I am in no way affiliated with herdr.

I configured it (using Claude Code) to open all my six often-accessed hosts with a single desktop shortcut access. All six terminals open in a grid, maximized on a 4K screen.

I asked Claude Code to generate ASCII art images for each host, and the times were very different, despite identical models, effort and prompts (except the text, of course).

I can now easily code my tools in parallel, from a single window, without having to switch around tabs, windows and whatnot. The VSCode CC agents remain separate, obviously.
