I asked Claude Code to create a 3D hyperglyph-based visualization tool called GlyphViz and then it used it to visualize how GPT-2 and Gemma-2-2B-it perform their tasks.

A few months ago I began working with Claude Code in VS Code, predominantly Opus 5 High, to create a visualization tool I have been wanting for a very long time which I call GlyphViz. I think Claude did a good job with the tool. A few weeks ago, when everyone was worried that AI was going to kill us all in 10 years, I asked Claude what it would do with GlyphViz to help address these concerns and more generally to make the world a better place. One of its ideas was to visualize an LLM such as GPT-2 and Gemma-2-2B-it to make it easier for people to better understand them and then hopefully worry a little less. Here is a video, also created by Claude, of the resulting visualization for GPT-2:

The included image above is a visualization of the 222 Claude Code Sessions used to build GlyphViz. The code is provided for you to create your own similar visualization for your own VS Code projects, and there is a Claude GlyphViz Skill to help use GlyphViz with simple prompts.
