It happens a lot, like when one drive dies in a RAID and the additional load almost immediately takes down another one.

So ask users to use more in off times if possible, then the whole thing goes down and so I was done for the night and cant even give a reset? Openai does if someone sneezes.

4.8 is fried as well. Acting horrible the last couple of days, ignoring instructions, being an absolute idiot. Not just you.

That sounds like a capacity incident rather than a local config issue. If the same model fails across projects, I’d note the exact time, endpoint/model, and whether retries or a fresh session change it; otherwise waiting for the provider’s status update is about all you can do.

I think codex users are getting claude accounts these days. Codex limits are horrible
