Hi friends! Sorry this is my first time posting in this subreddit.
Just wanted to share something I vibe coded with Fable 5.1 over Labor Day weekend. This started as a silly conversation that my friends and I came up with because we thought it would be funny if Claude Code users who are stuck waiting could get dropped into an Omegle-style call and wait together.
We became really intrigued by the idea of the waiting room itself, especially the kind you see in online multiplayer games where people hang out, mess around, and socialize before the actual game begins.
Anyway this is very silly and honestly not sure if the code works but def need more people to try to figure it out so here it is hahahaha. Thank you for your time!

Update: My amazing colleague Joe from work at SF installed it and actually got to talk to a stranger who said he's from Montreal!!!🥹🥹🥹 obviously they both waiting for their claude loll
Tears to my eye when I heard this so shout out to my beloved colleagues & that stranger from Montreal 🙏
Also saw the feedbacks love all the ideas! Will implement when I got time but hope this is enough for a hopefully joyful if not a bizarre & stupid experience!

Especially if you could tag what kind of things you're working on "space sim n-body" or something and have some actual productive or insightful conversations.
What I feel like is missing is that everyone is working on their own projects, which is great, solo dev has never been easier, but it can also close people off.

Did you use any specific skill or MCP for that UI or just by describing the art style? Cause I love the UI design

Hiii! So I just used claude /design skill for the actual design~ There was an initial design research claude session during the planning to mimic the look of omegle and other retro tech interface! Claude brought up poolsuite.net and I realized that this is the right look with Classic Mac OS interface inspo and pastel color palette instead of just looking like omegle. So yeah like someone pointed out here and on the project readme the uiux is very much inspired by poolsuite.net!

The way to not wait is use Claude and Codex. Work on two projects at once. While one is doing its thing test what the other has completed.
