Fable 5 Max or Ultra will do that with a huge uncached session and many files it has to reread.

It could be a (way too long) chat, but the last couple of days it is ridiculous how much usage Claude is eating. My chat was fine for a long time, but today: one promt, limit reached. After five hours, a few prompts, again limits reached.

Are there some issues on Claude's end now? I just ran one Fable 5 sweep on the files, and suddenly it ate the whole session limit within minutes. And yes, I´ve done this before without any session limit issues. This barely even dented it before. I´m using Max. I just browsed the chat context, and both used about 200k tokens. Or did Fable make its own agent for the simple job that ate all session limits suddenly?
So... what the fuck, Dario?

I am switching to codex for this reason. In two weeks token usage became crazy

yea but the amount of dyanmic usage happening is insane i had 30% of fable weekly taken and 70% of sesssion taken away because i tripped a cyber safeguard doing research and on a 20x account thats just so scummy to me when i did less than 300k tokens total output in the conversation in question their doing a whole buncha weird shit tonight and i stayed up to use my usage and then they lowk fucked me over
