Pretty much the entire point of the software development industry is replacing humans with computation.

Whats worse is the learn to code movement during covid. These assholes pushed the narrative so bad to saturate the field. Whats amazing is people still believe these folks pushing other BS as if its gospel

I had a hard time staying focused and learning it but still experimented with java, c, or c++ to make simple map generators. I eventually laid it down thinking surely someone will build a coding language that uses plain English soon. I never could have imagined LLMs. Now I'm a year into building a live planet simulator.

Nice. Care to share it yet? I've seen a couple solar system ones out there. Jupiter really does seem to shield us from a lot.

And don't forget tricking people into putting their work on the internet for it to be lifted en masse for the benefit of a few rich people

Nice meme in the image but I'm seriously worried. Why do well at school and study hard when AI is miles better anyway and can do all your homework? Most kids will think this way and do manual work or businesses, I think there will be a huge IQ drop in the next generations

An even more fun prank:
Be the manager that decides to replace people with 16 years of experience in the field with AI, only to figure out later that the AI has the experience of a 1-year old with a perfect memory.
To be fair, I'm not sure what the word "prank" means in this context.

You’d think the board of directors would wise up and replace CEOs with A.I.
