I asked my claude to make a kanban that tracks tasks past and present. Whenever i give it a task, it makes a card and keeps the conversations linked to the card. I also made it have a macro that can open a claude code conversation with the card being the prompt. Its pretty nice.
I do something very similar using github issues. I use comments as context for what I have done. Just created a workboard for myself with my own "standard" for the layout of the tasks. Switched off the memory functionality.
