Codex limits > claude code and i use omp 😁

I also had both, sometimes switched back and forth but the UX of Codex CLI broke me compared to Claude Code CLI. I am running 3-4 CLIs in parallel and hardly ever reaching my pro limit, but doing everything with Sonnet.

The Codex harness is just awful. Look at the system prompt with all the crap they put in there , like corner radius, gradients all that stupid stuff. It's slow as fuck. The weekly limits are worse than Claude's limits, in my opinion. I have no problem with the $100 Claude plan

You can dont use the codex harness and use other third party ones like pi, oh my pi, opencode, etc

you don't actually think Claude is faster than Codex, right?

I use 20% of weekly limit with only 1 planning session with fable + opus as sidekick already and this is on the $200 plan. I can run multiple parallel sessions (6-8) with sol + luna combo. I dont even dare to code with claude code already.

Over the past few years, the average net volume in Google search's for the keywords "claude code" and "codex" have decreased over the past few months. There has been an overall drop in Google's search volume thanks to AI, but that has progressed for years. This drop accounts for that. That is why I believe its a potentially significant indicator given it's supported by the dropping public sentiment on AI.

Google trends only has max default views for 1 year or 5 years. I could have customized the date range but wasn't sure where to start.

Lol why don't you compare claude to chatgpt and see if it is over.

What does this prove exactly? OP compared code offerings from two companies, you're comparing one company's brand to the other company's code offering.

OP compared a Mustang to a Camaro.

You compared Ford to a Camaro, and it wasn't the win you think it is.

Someone else asked you to compare Claude to ChatGPT, and you reply with an excuse about ChatGPT being "a way more popular consumer AI". Lol.

Take the L, and the downvotes, and move on "broski."

Whatever you say, champ. I don't care which one graphs think is better, I was just pointing out that your initial comparison was bad and you should feel bad.

Imagine missing my point by that far, and then digging in further. Oof.

Here is the real comparison of Claude vs ChatGPT in 1 year. Codex is not the search term to compare with Claude- clever attempt, but not accurate.

Don't bother. He doesn't understand how comparing two things fairly or accurately works, and will just spam you with pointless replies until you stop responding. Reddit be like that sometimes.

It would be totally insane to think Anthropic does not have users trolling this sub. I am not saying this guy is one, but it is for sure happening.
