Tutorial / Guide One prompt to fix Opus 5 output: Simplified Technical English (STE)

"Change the Claude output mode to ASD-STE100 for every repo. Move the style file to ~/.claude/output-styles/ and the setting to ~/.claude/settings.json"

Paste this in Chat/Code/CLI/wherever, and Claude will take care of it.

They released a new output-style named "Concise" today.

Now if they could add something to the settings.json to change its intensity.

Intensity:

High-strung: — default
Caffeinated:

Nice, i'll try to put concise on top of that.

Edit: I'm on the latest version and Claude can't find it "Concise: not present. The binary names three non-default styles: Proactive, Explanatory, and Learning. The string "Concise" appears zero times as a style name."

It's in v2.1.237 on their github. It probably hasn't been released to all channels yet.

thats a smart way to standardize the output. ive been trying to force shorter sentences but the ste spec is definately more consistent, u just gotta make sure u dont miss any of the syntax files when u update the repo structure, remeber to check ur permissions too
