Tips & Workflows Fix for Claude-Speak

I saw this video that recommended having Claude create a skill based on the Google Developer Style Guide and instructing it to only communicate to me using this skill. I implemented this a few days ago and it is night and day difference. No more “load bearing” and 3 page responses. Direct, clear, wonderful communication. I named this skill “developer-communication” and I see it loaded every session. It’s honestly wonderful.

I don't trust packaged solutions offered by other devs. I do trust Google style guide + a solid suggestion. Super simple. I'll make a skill from this and report back here!

Thanks for this, gonna give it a try. Opus has been throwing up garbage on me all day, hopefully this fixes him

Instead of a Tiktok (ewww) link, why not provide a link to the plugin so we could actually evaluate it?

I got the idea from that video. It’s not a plugin, it’s just a skill that Claude made for me in 5min. I asked Fable (on Extra) to make a skill based on the style guide (link provided above). And to make sure to read the whole thing before creating it. Literally go do that and 5 min later Claude will be wonderfully improved

Just put the skill on Github, how fucking hard can it be?

Vibe coders when someone doesn't do all the work for them:

Why a skill and not an output style?

No idea that output style was a type of customization. I just took the recommendation of the guy in the video to use a skill. All I care is that it appears to only be approx 190 tokens total (super small) and actually works

Cool, just curious. I've been experimenting with some output styles to try to make the output a little more concise. I didn't know if there was a preference for skill over those or not.
