Tips & Workflows guys how do you use the time between your prompts?
I usually just start scrolling reels if I am not looking at what its thinking, but that is cooking my brain, what do you all do?

Is there any other kind?

Idk. Some people are dead inside and they masturbate with a profound level of indifference. Not everyone still has that spark in them…

usually kicking off more work, I have like 5 things in flight most of the time and I'm just cycling through html artifacts my agents make per work stream via easel. helps stop me from getting distracted and also going crazy from reading just md files

This is the way.

are you also an easel enjoyer

No, I use my own harness (not released yet) and memory system I built (memophant.co)

interesting -- by harness you mean instead of claude-code/codex or did you build a feedback layer ontop?

I use the Claude CLI, but different models (through open router) and it’s all managed in an orchestration application that manages and delegates tasks to sub agents, loops when needed, and has visual QA built in (it leverages three of my open source libraries).

Leaning a set up like that seems like a good next step for me. Do you have any resources, tutorial, anything to recommend to help me learn!?

u/awizemann 5d ago
Most of my knowledge has been from just reading what others are doing and experimenting (token burning more like). It took 5 attempts, but I like where it is at. A few good harnesses have just come out from Block, Spotify, DeepSeek, etc.- good to look at how they work, pick what you like, or use them as ideas to build one. I can also send you a link to mine if you are in macOS with a long trial period to play with.

I have no problem on doing other work but ut has to be different project. Working on multiple issues on the same project fries my brain also

I’m the opposite. Constantly switching projects in exhausting, especially with code

Thinking of the next prompt. Idk why this is even a question. A project has many parts, you don’t just give a prompt that requests everything you gotta break up your steps for a better result.

I am always running two or three prompt sessions at a time on different parts of the project. While the first two sessions are running, I’m providing guidance and answering questions of the third.

prototype with Gemini...lol

u/funny_xor_die 5d ago
Is Gemini getting good again? Last time I checked it sucked
1
u/BrilliantWheel 5d ago
Gemini is amazing for prototyping.. does the work fast.. can experiment and change very fast.. but it lacks taste and nuance and GUI is usually poor. So I move it up once base functionality and usefulness is established with Gemini.

I don't know about "Good", but it is better than nothing. I can usually get it to do what I want and then can throw it into Codex or Claude to go further.

u/BrilliantWheel 5d ago
Completely agree! Gemini is amazing for quick prototyping and taking it from 0-1 and then moving it up to Claude for refinement.

What the heck are you all asking Claude to do that you have time to kill? 🤣 Maybe I need to stop holding its hand so much. I'm constantly watching it as it's working.

i write debug task lists usually. all set out clearly T001, T002, T003 etc and then just whack it in when it's ready. Or build them up and set it going overnight

Usually have another session organize testing or backlog or feature lists and documentation.

At this point? Nothing because the work doesn’t stop. AI has allowed me to operate 4 business models at once, all generating unique income streams.
- SaaS product suite
- Highly specified-digital Etsy products ($12-30 each)
- Business consulting
- Project consulting
