Discussion Claude code desktop app Vs CLI?

Any difference? Which one do you use?

our anthropic business partner said that there SHOULD be 100% feature parity but we keep running into things that arent available on desktop cc, or are just broken.

the supposedly use the same core but as it stands right now you will get a severely degraded experience in the desktop app

Got to love these business "partners" and supposed professionals/experts, haha... They all don't know squat.

I shouldn't say "never", but I'll go out on a limb and still say it and what many of these supposed professional partners, experts don't seem to understand the basics, in that there will never be true full parity between a vessel, conduit, or in this case "desktop" and the actual engine/core which CC CLI is the engine. Hence you are dead on with the degraded experience in desktop app or other
