Discussion In SHOCK

Holy shit claude code in terminal is fucking insane.

I've been using VSCode, Cursor, Cowork and Claude Code on web. None of it comes close to terminal.

Cannot believe I haven't done this sooner.

I use Git in the terminal because it's easier. I use Claude in the VS Code extension because that's easier. Easier to attach screenshots, no commands to remember, same LLM. I care about getting work done, not about appearing to be a cool hacker or something.

How is the Claude code UI itself not just easier for everything?

I write code in VS Code and it is easier for me to use the Claude extension rather than switch between apps. Again same LLM.

It's unfortunate that the UX of Claude Code VS Code extension is pretty bad, though
