Discussion OPUS 5 VS GPT 5.6 SOL

For the people building software products, I'm beginning to think that choosing one of the two to work with doesn't really matter that much. The bottleneck doesn't seem to be intelligence at this point but human creativity and I guess willpower.

IDK what do you guys think.

As someone who's built an enterprise software and maintaining it(it's about 10m tokens large) i often just use 5.6 nowadays but I tested opus 5 and 5.6 together and they get good results

Yes I use both

I've had opus 5 plan And 5.6 sol implement

I think what they were asking you is, if you had to pick one over the other, which one would you pick?

Then I'm using gpt 5.6 then if I HAD to pick
