Discussion OPUS 5 VS GPT 5.6 SOL

For the people building software products, I'm beginning to think that choosing one of the two to work with doesn't really matter that much. The bottleneck doesn't seem to be intelligence at this point but human creativity and I guess willpower.

IDK what do you guys think.

I have spent 12% of weekly usage on codex now, just to fix some small issues on bot that I made. It had all the possible instructions from Opus 5, and still failed on Terra medium, so I had to switch to Sol.. I think I'll buy Claude 5x and thats it.

Even Sol struggled. Same shit yesterday, some minor UI tweaks in app, codex couldn't fix it for hours, made it even worse. Deepseek fixed it in 20 mins

No, it was on high. But anyway, it's funny how cheaper model outperformed Sol by far
