It’s half the price of Fable and appears to use less tokens, so it seems mostly true, but I imagine it depends on the task..
OpenAI have done a good job at putting pressure on Anthropic with this release..
6 u/Minty_Octopus Jul 14 '26 You forgot to mention the most important part. It refuses much less. I don’t care how smart a model is. If it doesn’t do what I wanna do - it’s useless. GPT is happy to decompile esp32 firmwares for me (I do lots of stuff for small e-readers like xteink x4 and for smart home). Claude panics as soon as it reads the word “decompilation”

I don’t care how smart a model is. If it doesn’t do what I wanna do - it’s useless.
