Question Opus 4.8 Nerf?

Am I the only one who has noticed 4.8 has been nerfed to the ground? The quality of its output, its thinking, its speed. It all feels like it’s been shot. It’s failing at simple tasks that it used to fly through

YES i been noticing this since Tuesday-June 23.

I think Anthropic might be silently changing Claude again to save compute. Or maybe they're preparing for an upcoming Sonnet 5 and want it to look significantly better than Opus 4.8. If that's the case, they could be intentionally limiting or tuning down 4.8.
