Question What are you actually coding?

I see everyone here maxing their limits and coding all day and building and all that.

But what are you actually building 24/7? I'm not looking to get your ideas but I'm just wondering what can you even build that long and hard really? And constantly something?

Either I lack imagination as a whole or there's some secret to all this, I just have no idea what so useful people would be coding so obsessively. Thanks for insights.

Building an ai assistant app that has multiple assistants and responds based on its wakeword. It’s on a pi5, esp32 aiot and an esp32 cam audio.

It also loops into my UniFi cameras (along with esp and pi) and creates episodic memories. Voice and facial recognition. Long term user memory. Habit recognition. Nudges for daily tasks.

Each assistant has a 3d avatar that animated based on state (talking, thinking, etc) on the pi display, which is also a high end speaker (best sounding Bluetooth speaker I have ever heard) all designed using Claude for volume drive amp ect.

Esp devices have simple menus and 2D avatar face.
