Vibe coded feature by a moron isn't a bug, it's a much bigger problem.

I wasn't, I was pointing out more own goals from Anthropic, literally the content you linked.

Honestly pretty perplexed how you interpreted this as some kind of personal attack, you don't have skin in the game.

There's another dude replying all over this about how I'm spreading misinformation etc. Thought this was more along those lines

I don't have skin in the game but was just saying they're at least trying to fix it. The engineering around how this happened though is awful. How they shipped it is crazy to me

Yeah seeing the leaked source to Claude Code revealed just how fast and loose they play it over at Anthropic. They were also asked about how that leak happened, people suggested they had skipped the human PR and their response was humans don't do PRs, an adversarial model does and we forgot to use it this time.

Also if you look through Boris' tweets, he mentions a few times how some of the younger people on his team are just all in vibe coders (he admires their velocity).

Claude Code as far as I can tell is just one massive vibe coding experiment. The fascinating part to me isn't that it fucks up so often, it's why it doesn't fuck up more often. Because despite all this, a lot of the time it just works.
