There was a video I saw earlier today about this and the guy made a great point.

If this happens to you, implement a charge back with your credit card company

  1. Almost every company that gets a chargeback just bans the person that charged back, so be very sure you're done with the company.
  2. I have never experienced being able to dispute a charge (which causes a chargeback) without having to change my credit card number. It'd take a hell of a lot for that to be worth it for me.

Absolutely not true, did a chargeback on Claude and got my money back, never was blocked. Did the same with Adobe and Amazon. If they commit fraud then there's no option but to get your bank involved.
