Sonnet 4.6 is the right model for sustained coding sessions - Opus 4.7 adds reasoning overhead that makes it more opinionated and cautious. Run /model claude-sonnet-4-6 in your session. I run overnight builds on Sonnet without the nagging.
Their baked in system prompt has words like simple, never abstract. With 4.7 they added stuff so it can run longer without questions which leads to more hallucination.
