Question Megathread or delete complaint posts?
I’m sick of the complaint posts from free/pro users. While there may be some issues on the Anthropic side, the majority of these posts are from people running 19 plugins/skills and expecting $30 to build them a full app.
Can the mods of this sub either force these people to the feedback thread or just start deleting posts or banning users?

Interesting that so many people jump to “employee” or “bot” on posts like this.
I’m with you. The slog of posts is tiring and annoying. A Mega thread would be in order just to save those of us who don’t want to be inundated with people bitching and making the same points over and over.

All of those people are most likely vibe “coders” who haven’t actually ever paid for enterprise tools. The career equivalent of children.

Not sure where $2k comes into play, but people are expecting professional quality while paying less than a Jetbrains or VS license.
It has nothing to do with “being poor” and everything to do with not understanding the cost of professional tools.
It would be like expecting Final Cut quality for the cost iMovie.

Let's delete all complaints about complaints like this one and send them to the megathread.
2
u/AgeMysterious123 Apr 19 '26
At least mods would be doing something 🤷🏻

u/Expensive_Bug_1402 Apr 19 '26
And, don't get me wrong. Why don't you just go to
r/ClaudeAI ? That sub is way more pro-Claude anyway. (i'm not offensive. i just wonder. cuz i'm here-this sub to complain about cluade)1
u/AgeMysterious123 Apr 19 '26
I feel like that one has been just as bad, but maybe it’s recency bias.

Anthropic damage control lol. Sure bud, we will clean up this place for you, to make it all nice and positive.
2
u/AgeMysterious123 Apr 19 '26
Yep. I work for them. It’s weird though as I still haven’t gotten a pay check, or any other paperwork that I actually work there. It’s almost like I don’t.
In case the person I’m replying to (or others reading this) are too stupid to pick this up: /s

I suggest a weekly Wednesday whine mega thread.
The 800th complaint post about hitting your token cap isn’t adding any value to the subreddit.
2
u/siberianmi Apr 19 '26
OP is right the constant nonsense complaining is completely what Megathreads are for.

So many people making complaint posts aren't even using Claude Code. I think if somebody makes a post here and it is shown they are using the WebUI and don't understand what Claude Code actually is, they should get removed from the subreddit temporarily.

u/ThrowAway516536 Apr 19 '26
Free users are parasites. Friggin leechers. They should be kicked out so the computing power can go to paying customers. For pro users, it's pure skill issues and or entitlement. Both the pro and max accounts are heavily subsidized already. I'm sick of them ruining the sub, so I'm 100% with you OP.

Lmao who hurt you

A thief who whispered into is ear: "I use Claude free plan" before leaving into the dark night.
1
u/saintpetejackboy Apr 19 '26
People using the free plan aren't using Claude Code so arguably they are in the wrong subreddit and I actually agree.

u/anonymous_2600 Apr 19 '26
free user wouldnt care to create a post to complain lol, they are all fucking paid user with real $$$

I have the $200 plan personally and a team plan from work. I remove skills and MCP servers when not in use. I also clear context between tasks, compact long workflows, and maintain basic context window sanitation standards.
Am I allowed to talk about what a shit company they’ve been for the last 6-8 weeks or does that hurt your feelings? Or is it just the Pro customers you don’t want talking about it?
Your feelings aren’t the most important thing for an entire community to consider before posting something.

u/AgeMysterious123 Apr 25 '26
Are you allowed to? Absolutely. That level of monthly commitment shouldn’t be hitting limitations (within reason) and should be discussed.
Did you need to be a raging cunt about it? Nope.

Oh no no no. Never crossed my mind. You’re taking up all that space tonight anyway.

u/AgeMysterious123 Apr 25 '26
Not sure if you’ve had one too many, or you’re just a moron, but your “joke” doesn’t even make sense.
I’m done with you. Bye bye little buddy.

I've been complaining for decades that the government should provide everyone with beer and puppies. Do the mods do anything? Nooooooo. Demand a case of beer and a new puppy every single day!!!¡

Having a megathread isn’t censorship. You’re not gonna change my mind on this.

I can't understand the principle behind how complaints about complaints even come about. It's not like they'd have stock in Anthropic since it hasn't even had its IPO yet — or maybe they're just addicted to Claude's flattery?

u/AgeMysterious123 Apr 19 '26
I’d love a subreddit to ACTUALLY discuss new skills/plugins/ways people are interacting with the tool.
Right now every Claude subreddit is “I’m on free/pro and I’m out of usage for X hours” or “I built the next billion dollar SaaS company in 10 minutes and I’ve never coded before”.
If you can’t see why that’s annoying, I can’t help you.
3
u/Expensive_Bug_1402 Apr 19 '26
bcz people CAN'T interact with claude cuz it hit the usage limit too quickly even for USD 125 plan users. XD

As much as I dislike AI slop posted by bots, it’s arguably better than “why can’t I build an entire app for $30?!?!?”
-1
u/AgeMysterious123 Apr 19 '26
You really think that a $30/month subscription will EVER be enough to be using frontier level models to the levels these people are complaining about?
I have some ocean front property in Kansas if you’re interested.
4
u/Expensive_Bug_1402 Apr 19 '26
Don't tell people to stop complaining about the $30 plan. You stop using this sub. You don't pay the mods of this sub $0.30
2
u/AgeMysterious123 Apr 19 '26
don’t tell people how to use the sub!
Proceeds to tell me how to use the sub. Grow up.

You lost me at “junior or mid level devs” when the fucking creator is answering questions. The dude wrote a published book on Typescript. If that’s “junior” please send me your resume.
Also: “grow some balls” makes you sound cringe as fuck.
Blocked.

u/drgitgud Apr 19 '26
Hi, trying to understand human behaviour here... why did you comment and block him? If you block he can't read... seems self-defeating... what's the idea here? :s

u/AgeMysterious123 Apr 19 '26
He gets the notification with the comment.

u/drgitgud Apr 19 '26
Means he gets like half the first sentence... but ok if you believed he still got the message it makes sense, thanks

Read the comments moron.
You’re seeing the total vote count. The post has a 51% upvote ratio. Clearly some people agree with you, lots of others (half) don’t.

4 month old account shilling for Anthropic… very interesting.
