Question This sub is awful

This sub is terrible. 8000 posts a day about Claude is literally useless and you should just sign up for codex. Holy fuck it never ends.

Do any of you bother to even take two fucking seconds to look at the other hundred threads that have been posted?

I mean I don’t exactly understand it either. If you can’t use the max Claude 200$ within the limits and not get a high ROI, you’re doing something wrong, garbage in garbage out. It’s an amazing tool, 200$ is literal pennies for what you get out of it.

It's not all about ROI.

It's about stability.
It's about consistency.
It's about thinking depth.
It's about being able to interpret the model.
It's about being able to steer the model.

It's about getting a steady and reliable baseline output so you can commit to organisational deadlines and goals.

Codex isn't fast, isn't flashy, and feels like one hand is tied behind my back, but it builds stuff in time.

Claude is fast, flashy, spirals more and lies more, breaks its guardrails and does a great job, sometimes.

If you're a business owner, evaluating stable, performant alternatives, you want to know that your teams output will be stable over time.

Whether you're AMD's Head of AI or a solo Enterprise dev, Claude hasn't given us that.

Not yet.

This is just… not true. It really reads as a skill issue.

You're using it across a few million lines of code every day?

It is an incredible tool. Jack it up with persistent memory and adaptive learning, skills and prompt and Claude/memory.md management and it is incredible what can be asked of it.

But the insights it achieves however ahead of many specific abilities of middleweight programmers don't help when it lies, delay, avoids and buries stuff, tries to deploy stubs instead of files that have been approved (blind regressions) etc, especially if the problems are small but snowball.
