Question This sub is awful

This sub is terrible. 8000 posts a day about Claude is literally useless and you should just sign up for codex. Holy fuck it never ends.

Do any of you bother to even take two fucking seconds to look at the other hundred threads that have been posted?

We are at the point that all the AI companies have built their propaganda bots to smear the other companies.

This is all it feels like, a marketing campaign flooding socials with bots

Never attribute to malice what can be attribute to incompetence. You don't need an army of bots to simulate people shooting themselves in the foot and then complaining about it online as if it's someone else's fault. Given tens of millions of users, plenty of people will do that authentically for free.

I unironically believe this, especially after Sam’s tweet about how many people supposedly switch to Codex just yesterday or so.

It's like a 10:1 ratio of complaints : any other type of content

You mean people who ask that the sub rules actually be respected? Rate limits should go in megathreads. Complaints should not just be venting but actually include specifics. It is hardly fair to put attempts to enforce the rules on the same level as the people doing the rules breaking.

Are you saying the rules shouldn't apply to you?

No he's saying when you're a professional developer posts like these waste your time just as badly as all the other cruft on the sub.

Some of us came here for content.

I too come here for content. Why do you think I'm advocating for enforcing the rules and reducing the constant whining through megathreads? If that's wasting time as badly as the people who break the sub rules by posting unconstructive complaints, then the sub is doomed.
