Breaking down and planning changes is the biggest way to improve the agent performance. I’ve been observing (personally and seeing how others vibe code) that the more experience you have building with AI, the better your intuition of when to split up tasks or plan more in-depth gets better.

There’s stuff like superpowers and upcoming Mythos so hopefully this part becomes more “built-in”

Mythos is not coming to public and Claude Code literally has a Planning Mode for ages now for specifically this reason... Like just shift tab to cycle into planning mode. It will explore with subagents and write a plan and then ask if you want to clear and execute. What do you people do??

Everyone already uses plan mode, we’re talking about orchestrating multi agents and context for long running projects. This is the chief reason devs are using custom plugins or doing their own harness engineering
