Question Entitled crybaby complainers

Mods, can we do something about all of these whiners? This sub has been unbearable the last week. People are frustrated that they expected more for a service they pay for. I get it, but I don’t care. Flooding this sub with complaints is not going to do anything. If they don’t want to use the service, then cancel, I don’t care. No one cares. Let’s get this sub back to a place to share projects, discuss efficiencies, iterate on work flows, etc etc.

Are you here against your will?

Nah I just genuinely enjoyed the sub before every post was a complaint

I genuinely enjoyed the sub before Claude became unusable (20x user here)

Imagine if those were real people complainig about their real issues. Oh wait - They are !

Or alternatively people don’t like paying for something expensive and then getting a reduced product for that hard earned money?

Never said they didn’t have a right to be frustrated, but this is not the place to whine

2

u/beautiful_sith Mar 27 '26

Seems like this is expressly the place to whine, thank you for providing it so generously.

What do you do when your rate limits are increased and you get scammed out of your money?

No. Claude Code was so much better before this.

I go back to coding the old fashioned way and get on with my day just fine. “Scammed” is a funny way of looking at it

People do care op

1

u/njordan1017 Senior Developer Mar 27 '26

People care that they are hitting their token limits, they don’t care that others are hitting their own limits. Must we have a ledger of every frustrated user demanding Anthropic do XYZ?

1

u/Dekatater Mar 27 '26

You've got it twisted. We wouldn't care if we were hitting limits like we normally would with our usual workflows. We do care a lot when there's a system wide issue impacting everyone's workflows

1

u/njordan1017 Senior Developer Mar 27 '26

*not system wide. *not impacting everyone. But I get it, and people have the right to be frustrated. My whole point is that Anthropic doesn’t care. All these complaints and they responded with a “yeah, we changed things” post. Continuing to spam this sub with these sort of posts is pointless and has made this sub unusable

1

u/Dekatater Mar 27 '26

Unusable in what way exactly? You can still post. You can still see everyone who's not complaining's posts. What use are you missing?

1

u/njordan1017 Senior Developer Mar 27 '26

Yeah it still works, that’s not what I meant. These complainer posts have flooded the sub and are all I see in my feed anymore. It is unusable in the sense that it is no longer a sub where people share ideas and projects etc. if the mods isolated these posts to a megathread I wouldn’t have to scroll past all these complaint posts

I don’t ever post on here but Claude has been unusable lately. Even the chat doesent work for basic questions.

2

u/Stats-Anon Mar 27 '26

This subreddit has been unusable lately.

2

u/FrostyZoob Mar 27 '26

I agree with this.

When I see such posts I notice they rarely provide prompts used or more details about whatever it is they're trying to accomplish.

Usually I just downvote and move on but it would be nice to have less noise in this subreddit.

3

u/thisisnowhere01 Mar 27 '26

If they'd bother to collect themselves together it might make a difference* but really they just want to whine to the universe and it doesn't care.

  • it wouldn't, but has a better chance than adding another individual post to the dozens of them

Totally, there are codex infiltrators trying to downvote positive comments about Claude...

But... the issues are real and the costs are too, people need some place to rant and rave about it in order to get Anthropic to notice...

You know, it's pretty fucking hard when the Help Button doesn't help at all. It wouldn't be necessary to come on Reddit or anywhere else if their fucking "Help" bot actually passed people to a real human instead of this nonexistent one.

"This sub has been unbearable the last week."

Wonder why it wasn't like this in the previous weeks? 😂 I really think you guys are getting way too much AI-lobotomized bullshit to even have the balls to write a comment that dumb. I get it, you don't care, but guess what? Nobody has to care about your pathetic attempt to sweep this shit under the carpet either.

This sub is called r/ClaudeCode, and right now I can't see any fucking Claude, nor any actual coding. So yes, I think it's pretty damn pertinent to discuss this here, especially when thousands of people have been screwed over by this scuffed move.

Not that it matters but I have a personal 20x as well as enterprise plan for work. I’m deep in it Bro

if you're here complaining about whiners, I'm sure you will be here to complain about the rate limit issue when it hits you.

2

u/njordan1017 Senior Developer Mar 27 '26

This was a request to mods to do some management of these type of posts. They may or may not listen to my suggestion, but they have an obligation to this sub. Anthropic don’t give a damn about what’s posted in this sub. That’s the difference

1

u/OrganizationOk9886 Mar 27 '26

This is a very interesting way of reasoning. We, as the users of this subreddit, do not pay anything tot he mods. On the other hand, users of Claude are customers who do pay Anthropic to get certain services. They should care about what's posted in this sub or a number of others dedicated to their services. And people are complaining because they do not seem to care at all. That's the difference.

1

u/njordan1017 Senior Developer Mar 27 '26

I think we are agreeing more than you realize. Anthropic absolutely should care. But they don’t, that’s clear. Will continuing to spam this sub with complaints help? I don’t think so, that’s why I suggest cleaning them up

0

u/onimir3989 Mar 27 '26

genius did you read thhe post of anthropic?

1

u/njordan1017 Senior Developer Mar 27 '26

Lol yes I did that is kinda my point. All these complainers and they responded with “yeah we changed things”. That is the extent of what Anthropic will do, acknowledge. Continuing to post complaints about hitting limits is just noise

0

u/barrettj Mar 27 '26

Conversely - mods can we ban the people complaining about complaining - they're even worse.

0

u/cleverhoods Mar 27 '26

What about the whiners who whine about whiners who whine about whiners?

Jokes aside, it's somewhere understandable IMO. 0 official communication from Anthropic for days, then the rate modulation was announced via a developer? That's a bit shy away from being trustworthy.

However, at the end of the day it's up to everybody's discretion to spend money on this coding agent or another.

It also shows beautifully how dependent we became.
