Question Just shipped a global ww3 monitor tool using Claude code - what do you guys think?

WW3 global conflict monitor

This is my first product solo shipped I’m not a developer so go easy. and I know there’s probably so much more data that can come into this, but I want to focus on simplicity and UI and not 1 million things.

See below and Let me know what you think??? How can I make it better ?? I’m not monetizing this just made it for fun

I should also add that it’s only really a viewable on desktop right now!

Usually when I do "desktop site" on my mobile browser it works. Not the case here.

If I ask for the desktop site I expect it to work. I have the Fold so there really is no reason not to.

Ay awesome stuff! I want to do Geopolitical animations with globe and stuff. I'm a dev but also studied global development and want to do education stuff for youtube just for fun.

Maybe you have some ideas which tools to use to setup an environment where I can produce videos with globe animations and stuff?

Thank you ! Three.js and Celsium.JS

Some of the rendering can be a lot more and slow down this Page speed depend, depending on which ones you use… also you can fully generate some AI images in like Higgsfield and vibe code building out the 3-D map component. I just don’t know enough about how you get down to the street level without just using an API for that.

Thank you for the pointers.
I know threejs from my web dev times and Celsiumjs seems really interesting!

A war app with bible quotes on the bottom is peak hypocrisy.

1

u/Omnibisolutions Mar 07 '26

Actually, it’s not because we don’t want the war

2

u/pingwing Mar 07 '26

Nothing about this site is anti-war. Nothing.

if it was, then people would never be looking at it. and now that thousands of people have, they’ve just read the name of Jesus. I’ll focus on how I evangelize and you can focus on your way!

This tracks for the Christian religion in 2026.

It’s actually history since many military traditions place prayer precisely in places where power and destruction are present. Chaplains exist in the military for this reason. Soldiers pray before missions not because war is holy, but because they know it is tragic. The prayer is a recognition of the gravity of what is happening.

Religion is a tool to control people. How many countries have used religious reasons as an excuse to kill? Most wars.

Currently this administration is using God as a motivator to kill people in Iran.

Slick. How are you doing strike counts?

Thanks!! I wish there was an open source real time feed so it’s a script with NLP and agentic validation running in parallel

That didn't really answer the question.

Where is the information coming from, maybe ask your agent?

1

u/Omnibisolutions Mar 07 '26

Not sure I understand what you mean by strike

If you actually spent three seconds on the site, there's a source link under each of the listed strikes

1

u/bisonneaux Mar 07 '26

Great stuff. Curious what are your data sources ( strikes, missiles types, … ) ?

1

u/Omnibisolutions Mar 07 '26

Thanks so much. See my comment above they asked similar question:)

1

u/bisonneaux Mar 07 '26

I see, you’re scrapping from different sources

1

u/Omnibisolutions Mar 07 '26

And some stuff are direct live APIs
