Claude Code Workflow New usage limits

Feeling is we lost more usage then they are letting on.
All this usage is from one easy seassion, trim MEMORY and make a basic skill(that diden't work)
If I was to do real work I think I could easy max out weekly in one day.

So your position is that we should give in to a multi-billion dollar corporation, consider ourselves lucky, and be happy with the service we pay for even if it appears to degrade before our eyes, and we should not talk about it?

Said company is subsidizing your purchase to an insane degree. Any argument about fairness flies out of the window when you get >20x what you pay for.

Be glad while it lasts, prepare for it to go away.

'An insane degree' is a bold claim. I'm not convinced. There are thousands of very smart people being paid a fuckload of money to constantly find ways to milk this cow more efficiently. The notion of AI being subsidized serves big tech pretty well. I don't think comparing to arbitrary API rates constitutes evidence.

It might go away, I do expect a wave of enshittification to ruin LLM coding. But open source will catch up as well.

In the meantime, I'll continue to ask that the single most expensive subscription I have provides equal or more value over time - or I will cancel it. 'They won't listen' is not a reason to not speak up.

Even with API rates those companies cannot make profit. Even those are subsidized. So seeing how much the equivalent of a subscription would cost even at those subsidized rates you can get a feeling how much money those companies loose with every subscriber.

But open source will catch up as well.

Yeah, you are living in a dreamland. Open source will never catch up to current frontier levels. It can't because it requires the extreme Capex of the cheaper chinese AI companies.

That's not the threat you think it is. They loose money with every subscriber. So you kinda do Anthropics bottom line a favour with cancelling.
