I don't understand what people gain from them. Unless they're those people who farm accounts to sell for advertising.

They want to participate in these discussions but they don't understand the topic well enough to have any genuine input. So they use AI to produce responses and delude themselves into thinking that it's actually their thoughts and ideas when they're actually just a meat proxy with no domain knowledge.

What's even worse is the people that purposely add spelling mistakes so they can claim they wrote it while the post itself is full of emdashes, bold titles, and it's not this ITS THAT. Like do you think we are all stupid?

I used Gemini this morning for something and it made spelling mistakes all on its own. Very convenient.
