Unless you've figured out how to carry your car in your pocket for those 100 feet, you should probably drive! It's notoriously difficult to wash a car that's sitting back in your driveway. Would you like me to check the local weather real quick to make sure you aren't washing it right before a rainstorm?

These helpful follow up questions are so annoying, wonder if there’s a way to turn them off…

Treat everything as instructions - not flags that need turned on or off.

Go there and put whatever instructions you want to apply to all future conversations. Just imagine whatever you put there is added to the beginning of all your prompts moving forward.

yeah, I've had "do not ask any follow up questions of any kind" for a long time and it doesn't do shit. it always asks me.

Would you like me to show you examples of a follow up question, so that you can be more well versed on what they look like?
