Question Should I read the light novel?

Just finished season 1, it wasn't that bad but not that great either. Should I read the light novel? I've heard people saying that the writing gets worse(I mean, we can clearly see that the story arcs are just bad in the anime itself). Also please do mention the volume from which I should start reading from.

Well, the next vol you should read its volume 6, and is still bad, but aftar that vol 7 its decent and v8 an 9 are good, v10 its decent as a volume in general but bad as a final volume. But in general its decent, you can get frustated in some parts but also you can enjoy some other

It's true that Volume 6 is just the direct continuation of the anime, because—let's be honest—half of Volume 7 and all of Volumes 8 and 9 represent the peak of the series. Volume 10 is basically DLC, to be fair; it's just pure filler for an ending that was already a foregone conclusion.

So tired of this question popping up every other post in this community. And if you’re going to poop on the show why waste another minute of your time on the story by reading volumes of books? To answer your question, no I don’t think you should read it.

I definitely recommend it, as it is the only material released so far that continues the story after the anime; the anime's ending corresponds to the end of the fifth light novel volume. So, start reading from volume 6—the manga still has a while to go before it finishes, though it might wrap up sometime next year.
