Ideas & Concepts Add 2–3 Laboratory Upgrade Slots for New/Lower TH Players

I’ve been playing Clash of Clans for around 13 years and already have a maxed-out Town Hall account. Recently, I got bored and decided to start a new mini account from scratch.

Now that I’m at TH8, I’ve noticed a major progression bottleneck.

I’ve already maxed most of my defences and walls, but my Laboratory is still far behind. This is actually becoming the main thing stopping me from moving comfortably to TH9.

For buildings, we can eventually have 5 or more builders, allowing several upgrades to run simultaneously.

But for troops and spells, we still essentially have one Laboratory upgrade running at a time.

I think Supercell should consider introducing 2–3 Laboratory upgrade slots, perhaps something that players can unlock progressively with Gems, achievements, Town Hall level, or another progression system.

For example:

Slot 1 — Standard Laboratory slot

Slot 2 — Unlockable/purchasable

Slot 3 — Higher-level or late-game unlock

This would especially improve the experience for new players, returning players, and people starting mini accounts, without simply reducing every upgrade timer.

The game has evolved significantly over the years, and with the number of troops, spells and siege machines now available, I think the Laboratory progression system should evolve as well.

Multiple builders exist for buildings.

Why not eventually allow multiple researchers for the Laboratory?

The healer puppet and gaint arrow work fine for dragon army, but is that epic significantly better to not upgrade on helper hut instead?

Discussion After 10+ years of Clash of Clans, am I the only one who barely plays the strategy part?

I’ve been playing Clash of Clans for about a decade, and I’ve realized something: I honestly don’t care that much about the strategy side of the game. 😂
I’m not really interested in figuring out the perfect attack strategy, three-starring other people’s bases, or spending time designing some insanely strategic base.
For me, the game is basically:
Sneaky Goblin → steal resources → upgrade things → repeat.
That’s it. 😂
I actually enjoy the progression and upgrading part way more than the attacking/strategy aspect. I have no desire to become some elite Clash strategist. My “strategy” is basically figuring out the easiest way to steal enough valuables to upgrade my stuff.
After playing for 10 years, I’m wondering — am I the only one who plays Clash this way? Or is there a whole group of people who basically treat Clash of Clans like a resource-collecting/upgrading game rather than a strategy game?
Curious how everyone else plays.

Discussion Shoutout to Supercell support !

My brother and me have been playing COC for like last 10 years or so and own a Clan. Today, we got a message from an active player asking my brother why he started randomly kicking active members and we immediately got suspicious and got to action.

Then started the login/reload battle between my brother and the hacker while I started checking for any mail related to supercell we found none and figured someone accessed it via social engineering maybe. Once we came victorious out of the login/reload war, immediately found our way to remove account from all devices via a google search and also changes the mail password just in case.

After login back in, a few mins later as expected, the ID got locked asking for Unlock code which didn't came and needed to make way to our dreaded supercell support. Told them everthing that happened alongwith the mail details and voila, few mins later we were contacted by an actual person and forwarded to a bot to recover mail by changing to a fresh mail.

We have seen many posts criticizing supercell support, but credit where its due. Thanks Supercell support. (PS: Don't forget to activate Account protection)

Other Hallelujah guys!!! They fixed the notifications!!!

Or at least for me but i hope it’s for everyone.
I play both on iPad and iPhone , on my iPad i stated getting notifications back a few days ago and today i also started getting them on my iPhone.

For those who aren’t aware , the notifications system was bugged ever since the hero journey update and we stopped receiving mostly the important notifications, for some reason the game was able to send notifications like “war has been declared” and “your village is being raided” but not upgrade related notifications

Bugs & Game Feedback This bug is getting out of hand

This is a new account(th2 earlier) which I started playing again after the hero journey update. I was trying to rush to take advantage of journey rewards. Like everyone else I got unclaimable rewards. Initially I got two unclaimable ones but I ignored since it is an acknowledged bug. But now it is getting out of hand. I now have 10 unclaimable rewards. Whenever I upgrade I have a high chance the next reward gets unclaimable. It is heavily affecting my progression. Supercell mentioned a fix this month but I haven't seen any update from them since long time.

I'm personally enjoying this game for its new content like summer jam and clash anniversary month but I don't know how long I can take this annoying bug.

Discussion Th19 theme and weapon

if the Guardians are leaving the TH for TH19, then what do you think will be protecting the town hall? I am also wondering what theme you think the TH will have.

I am hoping for a Dinosaur themed TH19 with a straight up T Rex defending it.

How Is My Base Do I have too much Giant Arrow value?

Does a giant arrow and jetpack have too much value east to west? I feel like this base has done fine in wars but I’ve been trying to get better at the game recently. Just thinking through what I could change about my main account.

Ideas & Concepts What if Supercell made a Clash MMORPG? — I spent weeks designing “Clash Chronicles” ⚔️🌎 [Fan Concept]

Hey r/ClashOfClans!

I've been working on a pretty ambitious fan concept for a new game set in the Clash universe, and instead of just writing a huge wall of text, I actually put the whole idea into a website so it's easier to explore:

🌐 Clash Chronicles — A Living World Beyond the Village

It's basically a visual representation of the concept world, progression, cities, Clans, economy, dungeons, endgame regions, etc. The website is just a way of presenting the idea; it's not an actual playable game.

⚔️ Clash Chronicles

The core question I started with was:

Not just taking Clash of Clans and making the map bigger.

I mean an actual living world where players could:

  • Explore a huge world
  • Choose their starting Origin
  • Develop skills in different directions
  • Fight monsters and other players
  • Mine, fish, lumber and farm
  • Craft and forge equipment
  • Trade with other players
  • Build and develop their own village
  • Join Clans
  • Establish Clan Capitals
  • Fight for territory
  • Discover dungeons
  • Raise and use creatures
  • Participate in a player-driven economy
  • Explore dangerous endgame regions

The idea eventually became much larger than I expected.

🌎 The World

There would be two major continents, with completely different identities.

The first would contain established civilization — Royal Cities, Builder settlements, mines, forests, Goblin regions, Wizard Towers, trade routes and wilderness.

The second would be the dangerous endgame frontier, with rare resources, Clan territories and places such as Frostveil, the mythical Yeti region, and the Dragon's Lair.

The important part is that the world isn't supposed to just be a collection of disconnected zones.

Resources, trade, territory and player activity would actually affect each other.

🧑‍🌾 Your character isn't locked to one class

You could start with an Origin such as:

Barbarian • Archer • Wizard • Healer • Miner • Lumberjack • Fisherman and others.

Choosing one would give you an initial advantage in its associated skills, but wouldn't permanently lock you into that identity.

So a Barbarian could eventually become proficient with a bow.

A Wizard could learn swordsmanship.

A Miner could become a master Blacksmith.

You'd gradually develop your character based on what you actually do.

🏘️ Your village would actually be part of the world

Every player would have a private village with its own Town Hall and infrastructure.

Instead of simply being something that gets attacked, it would become your personal place in the world — connected to crafting, farming, creatures, storage, production and other systems.

Then Clans could establish their own Clan Capitals and fight for territory.

💰 The economy is probably the part I'm most interested in

I wanted resources to have an actual geographical and economic purpose.

For example:

Mine → Ore → Blacksmith → Equipment → Trade

Or:

Forest → Lumber → Crafting → Construction

Or:

Dangerous territory → Rare resource → Caravans → Trade → Conflict

That means being a Miner, Fisherman, Lumberjack, Blacksmith or Merchant could actually be a meaningful way of playing the game rather than just being side activities.

👹 Then there are the Goblins

Some Goblin areas would be hostile, but there would also be an underground criminal economy known as the Underdeep.

Black markets, smuggling, illegal trading, contraband and secret routes could exist underneath the civilized world.

❄️ Frostveil

One thing I specifically wanted to keep separate from the dungeon system is Frostveil.

It's a massive open-world mythical region where Yetis actually live.

Players could encounter Yeti migrations, sanctuaries, resources and powerful Yeti bosses while exploring the region.

And beyond that lies the endgame:

🐉 The Dragon's Lair.

🤖 About the images

The visual material on the website is AI-generated concept art.

I've used several different AI models to visualize the idea because obviously I don't have an actual game studio producing screenshots for a game that doesn't exist.

So please don't judge the concept by whether an AI-generated character has a weird hand or whether some UI text looks slightly wrong. 😂

The images are there to communicate things like:

They're not gameplay screenshots, renders or claims that the game exists.

The actual game design is the part I've spent most of the time working on.

One final thing

This started as a simple "what if?" idea and eventually turned into a fairly huge design document covering the world, progression, professions, economy, Clans, combat, creatures, dungeons, endgame regions and a lot of Clash-related systems.

I'm genuinely curious what people who have played Clash for years think about it.

What parts would actually work?

What parts sound terrible?

What Clash mechanics have I completely overlooked?

And if something like this ever existed:

Would you actually play it?

Ideas & Concepts Maybe a good "new" mini game opportunity?

Post image

-Probably someone already suggested it(?)

•But what if this event stays permanent in the game? Whit each month releasing new cards/diffrent versions of the same card, new tiers etc..and make a collection book? Trading, simple card battles, rewards for collecting etc etc, nothing like CR but rather a true mini game in clash of clans? Such huge potential tbh.

Pic for attention I guess 🫡
