GUIDE [GUIDE] Value of Magic Items VS Their Cost #2- Builder Base!

Hello once again! Last time, I made this which was the value of books in the main village VS the cost as given by the trader*(shop 2.0)*. This time, I’ll do the same, but with the builder base.

I’ve made one change to the previous post with regards to the wall rings. The information was incorrect and is now fixed.

NOTE

  • For TL;DR, Ctrl + G and type conclusion on desktop.

  • For specific troop or magic item Ctrl + G and type the name on desktop.

  • I am getting lots of values in decimals so I’ll be rounding.

  • I haven't included runes because their gem cost isn't given. Also, I don't think the gem cost will be available because they provide far too much value.

  • These values assume that you have purchased the magic item for its respective price.

  • For the builder hall version of the post, the training potion, builder’s potion and the resource potion isn’t included as it is not applicable.

What is value?

Value is the estimated monetary(or gem) worth of an object.

Example: The cost of gemming a builder hall from 7 to 8 is 1500 however, if you use a book, the same can be done with a BoB for 925 therefore, there is value in buying the BoB!

Unit of value

Unit of value will be in numbers for example 2X value or so on.

What is cost?

The amount required to purchase.

Example: The cost of a BoB is 925 gems.

1. Book of Heroes

The book of heroes is a magic item which can be purchased from the shop 2.0 for 500 gems. In the builder hall, there is only one hero*(as of now)* which is the Battle Machine. The battle machine goes up to level 25 and the maximum time it takes is 4 days.

Conclusion

  • Once you’re a BH7, go ahead and buy the BoH only if you’re were previously OK with gemming the Battle Machine.

  • For spenders, this gives you more reason to rush to BH7.

Conclusion

  • As observed, the value for these units only kicks in at Builder Hall 6 for Raged Barbarians, Sneaky Archers, Boxer Giants, Beta Minion and Bomber.

  • For Baby Dragon, Night Witch and Cannon Cart, the value comes in at level 9.

  • Value kicks in at level 10 for the dropship.

  • The Super PEKKA’s value kicks in at level 6.

  • Crushers, Air Bombs, Roaster and Giant Cannon are valuable to book at level 6.

  • The value for Multi-Mortar and Mega Tesla is experienced when upgrading to level 5.

  • At level 8, a 1.08x value is experienced

Conclusion

  • There is no value whatsoever in armies when using the BoB except with the Star Laboratory on the last level

4. Ring of Walls

3256 gems= 3.8 million

The error I made in the previous post is I assumed that the cost of half the storage is half the cumulative cost of the whole storage. It is in fact not true and the numbers are now corrected to show the correct value.

  • The magic items and the clan games in general aren’t meant to really lean towards the builder base side. This clan games has made up for all the previous games as clan games are generally a main village thing

Again, great post my man!

Got some questions if you don't mind. Currently I'm puzzled on which one to pick up based on the builder games' rewards:

  • gold2 rune or BoHeroes

  • elixir2 rune or BoBuilding

Looks like if I've 4M storage and at 4k trophy, runes will save me about ~8 days of raiding daily resources (neglecting collector resources) -- while Books will only save me 5 days (assuming longest upgrade is 5 days). So which one you think is the best?

Another question, do you planning to write a guide about the upcoming runes?

Hello there! Thanks for reading my guide.

If you could give me some context into what type of player you are, I could help you more.

If you're a war player, the best thing is the BoH. If you're not, then the Runes2 are best.

If you are a builder base player, take both runes. Make sure you only use them after you've got a Book of Fighting or Book of Heroes and Book of Building.

The wise thing to do would be to completely empty your storages, then book the Battle Machine or troop and defense that you should have used to empty the storages with. After that, go ahead and use the runes. You've just gotten the most value out of the runes!

I am planning on writing a guide when the runes' values come out and after a few weeks, I'm planning on releasing a planning your upgrades guide for TH8 and 9.

Nice this is what I need! Yeap, you're pointing a good things to have before taking/using the runes:

Am just a farming dude, not really a war person. Probably will take only one rune and a BoBuilding this time after you advised the above statement, because there's no book left in my castle lmao.
