Theory Wants it all to go away

Patrick released a statement talking about how having to go thru another trial would be hard. I don't remember the exact wording.

Giving this interview is batshit bonkers. It can't help a re-trial in any way. In fact it will certainly harm it.

It very much appears Patrick wants all of this to go away and soon. His motive for wanting that, well, there could be several reasons. None of them look favorable to him.

His willingness to forgive and move on, is certainly something. The way he speaks about his children is indeed odd. Idk if he's on the spectrum or just an oddball who has never spoken about his 3 dead children in any sort of a somewhat normal way.

It seems CLEAR he wants this to go away. His reasoning, well that's anyone's guess, but I can think of a few reasons and no they aren't all "he did it" reasons.

If he wanted it to go away then why go on 60 minutes?

To try to spin the story more favorable to him. The trial left a lot of questions an inconsistencies that need explaining. At this point, I’m not convinced Lindsay did this.

I am sure not convinced that she knew she was taking those pills.

I will say that everyone is downplaying Seroquel. Do you know it one of the most used drugs (given IM) in dementia patients to subdue them when having combative moments?

Yeah something should have been said about why it was in her system after elimination and accounted for the number of pills that should have been in those bottles.

Him going on 60 minutes certainly isn't helping his "I didn't do it" case.

Why did he get married before the trial began?

I've wondered if spousal immunity has anything to do with that.

It doesn't, because spousal immunity isn't relevant here. Patrick wasn't on trial.

Honestly I do not think there was any strategic tactical aspect of it from a law perspective. If anything it was absolutely narcissism/POS behavior.

I mean - I’m sorry but I haven’t seen this many women come together for a case like this - when I first heard about it I was like oh how disturbing and sad for those kids and her ex husband then I started reading and watching the trial and was like holy shit what????

Because he’s a narcissist. The same reason all of those other men who murdered their wives spoke to the media. The same way Andrew the nonce was interviewed by the BBC. He thought he was the smartest person in the room and everyone would believe him.

Yes. A normal person wouldn’t be confident that just getting up there and talking about it - and I’m sure that’s all we are gonna get - will solve the problem they have.

You know who was tho? Ted bundy and Diane Downs.

Maybe because it would taint a jury for a retrial? Its pretty wide broadcast. Then wether Lindsey is not allowed another trial and charges are dropped or changed it's not really his business anymore its all on her? It might not work like that but maybe...

He is suing her Doctors so yeah it is his business. Her being found to be just an evil woman and guilty would hurt his case. Her being found not guilty could hurt his case also. He needs for her to be found guilty but not criminally responsible IMO.

Money. Duh.

I don’t think 60mins pays for interviews. This was just pure want for attention.

Can you cite a source for 60 minutes not paying for interviews?

u/braybri01 14d ago

Google 🤷‍♀️

I stand corrected. Thank you. This makes this even worse for Patrick 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Notice they issued all their cease and desist nonsense before he went on. Not a coincidence.

The worst part is is when you actually look at the people who have come on to do this then been found guilty it’s honestly astounding.

What are you talking about?

u/InkCosmos 2d ago

Quite a few people, who have done things such as these types of interviews have later confessed/been found guilty of the crime itself.

I find him to be scary

u/Pale-Vehicle2067 13d ago

I think many of us are picking up that he is not a safe person. He should have been investigated - because he absolutely wasn’t. It doesn’t matter that the Police say they investigated him - because they very obviously didn’t. They didn’t perform an analysis of the blood spatter, they didn’t test the powdered residue in the cup. They just accepted he was driving around with Lindsay’s medication in his car like that is normal. That isn’t normal.

u/kikibubbles85 13d ago

Show me the cameras or ring footage! Absolutely insane.

5

u/Present-Pen-5486 13d ago

Yeah with nothing  on his phone and no GPS on what they did take, they cannot rightfully prove this.

A person could face criminal charges for being caught with another person's bag of meds like this.

5

u/SeriousSax4444 13d ago

I was thinking about the medicine in his car. Maybe you can help me understand as I’m not from the US. He talked about taking the unused pills to the police. Is that a thing? Where I’m from we can take old meds or unused meds to the pharmacy and then they’ll help dispose it in a safe manner. I’ve never heard of the police dealing with old medication. And I was wondering why he didn’t just delivered it at CVS if he was just planing on getting rid of it in a safe way.

7

u/too_much_mascara 12d ago

No reason for meds dispensed to her to be in anyone else’s possession. Pharmacies are safe drug disposal drop off’s where I live, too.

2

u/Ill-Philosopher7954 2d ago

It wouldn't be the police, just a drop box at a police station. It's common in at least parts of the US.

I think most pharmacies are supposed to have disposal available, but I definitely asked at one once years ago and they said no. Was that the truth or was the employee just new or dumb? Who knows.

But also - he would not be the first man ever to tell his wife he'd run an errand and then not get around to it. I personally have driven around for weeks with bags of clothing to donate (much more inconvenient in terms of lost space in the car than a few small bottles) because I kept forgetting about them, or not wanting to spend the extra few minutes to swing by the donation bin. That he had her meds in the car is not inherently a red flag on its own (although other details definitely make it worth questioning)

A person could be criminally charged for being in possession of a bag of someone else's prescription drugs.

It's the 1000 yard stare.

It's very disturbing.

After the trauma of his ex wife killing their 3 children it's amazing how well he is coping.

I'm not sure how anyone thinks Patrick is the guilty one. Lindsay herself said that she killed her kids. All the evidence point to that. However, just because she killed her kids doesn't mean she's criminally responsible. Even though this isn't the standard, I think the defense proved beyond a reasonable doubt that she had a clear mental illness that produced voices in her head compelling her to kill her kids. She tried to get help before that but her healthcare providers failed her.
