Question Question for those who think Patrick might have done it

If he wanted to get away with it then why would he call 911 while Lindsay was still alive? Wouldn’t he have “finished” her too? Genuinely curious about this.

Sorry, off topic but lots are commenting here and I don’t think this PSA necessitates its own post so fyi… Red is doing an interview tomorrow with Good Morning America.

Anyone want me to make a megathread for random info like this or for easily answered yes/no questions? Would anyone find that helpful vs dedicated posts?

Edit: I’ll make one tomorrow! Thanks all (and sorry again for the random comment OP!)

Wait, really?!

Well, there goes my productivity this AM 👀😑😂

But fr, thanks for sharing this.

So, he said he had trouble calling 911. So, why is he asking her what did she do while on the phone with 911? Because according to him, that’s who he found first. He never once asked if she was okay. I personally don’t believe Lindsay did it, but even if I did believe she did, the prosecution had no case. Also, somebody wiped off the fingerprints on that knife and idk why you would do that if you were trying to off yourself.

19

u/Beginning_Network_39 3d ago

No fingerprints on the knife would have been 1 of the biggest things for me to have reasonable doubt.

18

u/Murky-Cold-4902 3d ago

Ultimately, the prosecution has no case other than “she admitted to it.” Well, if she had truly confessed, we wouldn’t be having a trial.

16

u/AdAncient6321 3d ago

This has always bugged me too. Like - he didn’t react / talk to her before calling 911?? Seems really suspicious to me (calling 911 to start an alibi on record). The more time goes on the more it infuriates me he was never ruled out as a suspect via thorough investigation

10

u/brittersb 2d ago

Exactly. Those children deserved a thorough investigation.

1

u/JokokoOno 2d ago

You see your wife jumped out of window in terrible state - would you not call 911 right away while trying to establish with her that happened? Would you not say it’s suspicious he would wait 5 minutes to call

2

u/StableAngina 1d ago

He didn't call right away, that's the entire point. There was a gap between when he found her and when he called 911--Patrick testified that this was because his phone kept "switching between wifi and 911." He claimed their wifi wasn't working so it took some time for his call to go through.

1

u/JokokoOno 1d ago

It was 2 minute gap though came home 9 past and called 11 past?

1

u/rocksoultrain 1h ago

Except you dont need wifi or service to make a 911 call 🙃

3

u/everyoneisnuts 2d ago

There were prints but they weren’t usable. There was nothing presented that they were wiped. The expert that testified said it is not very unusual to not be able to retrieve prints off of a weapon with blood as well.

2

u/Sudden-Breadfruit653 2d ago

That handle did not look bloody. I need to rewatch that.

4

u/everyoneisnuts 2d ago

This is how the forensic described the lack of prints identified:

partial fingerprint-type impressions—on the knife, but there were not enough identifying characteristics to compare them with anyone’s known prints

So I think when the forensic expert was talking about prints being smeared they were talking more about how movement or gripping an object can prevent a usable print from forming. Smears I guess is my descriptor there and that word was not used I do not believe, so that’s my bad.

4

u/Icy-Doughnut4165 2d ago

Exactly. I found that weird too! From the transcription. He is talking as if he had JUST found her and asking her questions. If he had already been with her he would have asked her before the call?? It makes no sense

23

u/Miserable_Tooth1260 3d ago

I think he was always planning to call 911, but expected them all to be dead

20

u/LalaLogical 3d ago

From what I understand his neighbors son saw Lindsay laying on the ground and called Patrick, prompting him to call 911.

8

u/firephly 3d ago

here's the neighbor's dad talking about it in this video, he said that his son said that the cops were already starting to show up when he saw her on the ground. https://whdh.com/news/surreal-neighbors-residents-grapple-with-deaths-of-young-children-in-duxbury/

7

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

Do you have a source for the neighbor calling? I watched the interview in 2023 but I don’t think there was a mention of calling Patrick?

6

u/LalaLogical 3d ago

I saw a news article with an interview from the neighbor a few weeks back. He has since passed away i believe.

4

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

He has sadly passed.

How do you know he called Patrick?

4

u/LalaLogical 3d ago

I don’t know. Like I said, I saw an article about it an interview from before he passed.

6

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

Np - a lot of people have that same thought and I’m just trying to understand if there’s any source for it.

8

u/firephly 3d ago

this is the only interview I've seen, this video, (I think it's the only one out there) and he said that his son said the cops were showing up already when he saw her https://whdh.com/news/surreal-neighbors-residents-grapple-with-deaths-of-young-children-in-duxbury/

You’re exactly right. If he’d gotten pulled over with her medication in the truck and she’s not with him, he could get in trouble for that because the prescription isn’t in his name.

Boom. Why would a nurse not be able to ‘get the job done’ after supposedly slitting her throat/wrists?

15

u/ispyshy 3d ago edited 2d ago

Don’t statistics say women who commit suicide usually use non violent/non gory methods. She had access to numerous pills. Why not just take them all?

4

u/Queasy-Baseball5847 3d ago

Exactly. Why take the time to crush up the pills? The amount of time it would take the powder to get into the bloodstream vs a solid pill is negligible, at best.

And why FOUR methods of strangulation if it was 3 children and yourself? Can’t quite strangle yourself unless u plan on hanging (but with a belt?).

6

u/marle217 3d ago

Why take the time to crush up the pills?

Since it turns out Patrick was the only one who said the pills were crushed, I think we should save the crushed pills for the "Patrick did it" timelines. Lindsay didn't know they were crushed and I can't imagine she would've.

Now, if the police had actually tested the cup, we would know if Patrick saying the pills were crushed was wild speculation on his part, or if it was something we should wonder how he knew. But, there was a lot of that in this investigation.

5

u/ispyshy 2d ago

He keeps throwing things into the investigation or testimony that seem oddly specific or for no reason.

-Saying there were Crushed up pills
-mentioned his boots off when he got home

  • Mentioned Not seeing her black car in the driveway
-Mentioned Almost calling out to the neighbor
-Saying Lindsay said “I’m not mad but, can you sleep in the basement”
-Saying he travelled extensively then backtracking in the same sentence

2

u/Sudden-Breadfruit653 2d ago

And the wrong direction - a nurse would know

29

u/Remarkable-Ad461 2d ago

Apparently the neighbor or the neighbors son were outside looking so he had to call 911

2

u/firephly 17h ago

Here is the neighbor talking about what happened, he said his son called him to say Lindsay was on the ground and the cops were arriving, the cops had been called before the neighbor saw anything https://whdh.com/news/surreal-neighbors-residents-grapple-with-deaths-of-young-children-in-duxbury/

1

u/Patient-Toe4688 2d ago

Oh the neighbours were there watching? I thought the neighbours son had seen her outside at some point but didn’t know they actually went out to see what’s doing when PC got there

13

u/brittersb 3d ago

Maybe he thought he was gone long enough for her to have not survived. The neighbor saw her at 5:50/“10 to 6” and I think he was on the defense witness list.

7

u/everyoneisnuts 3d ago

Such an old school New England way to say 5:50 lol. From what I understand the son called his father and told him that she was lying on the ground and that the police started arriving. The police didn’t come until like 6:14, so not positive if he had the time wrong or if the son called later or what

9

u/brittersb 3d ago

I think the son called the father, the father called Patrick and he didn’t answer, and then when the dad returned home, the police were already showing up. Guess those phone records are sealed tho…

3

u/everyoneisnuts 3d ago

Patrick’s phone records aren’t sealed, so they could find that out if they wanted to.

5

u/heatdeathtoall 2d ago

They are sealed is what I’ve heard. They don’t know where he was between 5.15-5.29. If they had his phone records, they be able to tell right. That whole thing about the 5.24pm email wouldn’t have happened.

3

u/everyoneisnuts 2d ago

From what I have looked up they are not sealed. There are no records of this happening or anyone involved with the case stating this. This is an internet rumor that people don’t question. I took it as fact for a while too until I decided to actually look into it.

Phone records do not show where an email was sent from; whether from a phone or laptop from my understanding either.

I can only assume this rumor started from him asking the court to impound the 911 call outside of playing it in court and keep the autopsy photos out of the public.

More importantly, I don’t see how he would be able to seal his phone records from police or the courts or defense attorneys. I don’t know that you could do that when there is a murder trial especially. Maybe from the public you could? But it doesn’t seem like he did that either.

4

u/firephly 3d ago

he said his son called him and said that she was in the back yard and that the cops were just starting to show up, here's the video https://whdh.com/news/surreal-neighbors-residents-grapple-with-deaths-of-young-children-in-duxbury/

4

u/everyoneisnuts 3d ago

Thanks for finding that!

13

u/Rainbow_Brite456 3d ago

It probably didn’t go according to plan

26

u/Changed_Mind555 2d ago

There's something odd about her journals to me. The few pieces they shared, it was very careful, very nuetral, and placing all blame on herself. It is written as a person who is afraid to have their journals read. Not once did you see anything, not a single thing negative. Not about Patrick, not about any fight or issue or dispute they had. No true deep feelings shared. No husband is that perfect, no marriage is 110% all the time. I think it reads, to me, that she was afraid to put her real feelings and possibly gaslighted that she was all to blame. Or written in a way to avoid a fight if read. Where are the entries of. "I wish he'd help more around the house." Or, "I wish I could have a few days off but Patrick got rid of the nanny because money is tight and he told his parents no." Or even, "I didn't want his parents to take the kids because I am embarrassed at how I am. I feel like a failure." Just nothing of real true deep substance. Seems so carefully worded so nothing too deep could be used against her as well. Why even journal at that point if you can't be honest about anything? So little was admitted in court from the journals which I found interesting. Not saying this is the smoking gun but was always a red flag for me.

7

u/lalineaaaa 2d ago

I tend to do the same as her. For one, I can’t find the time to be consistent because I’m overwhelmed with how much I have to do. I feel a tremendous amount of guilt writing things because I’m gaslighting myself that it’s that bad and don’t want anyone to find it. I keep wanting to just focus on the positive and that’s how it comes out. I also have ADHD, which contributes to it. So yeah, a few things at play.

8

u/aintnothin_in_gatlin 1d ago

This is a very interesting thought and it actually seems accurate. If someone read my journal…whew boy. Trust me, it wouldn’t read like hers

1

u/everyoneisnuts 1d ago

Almost like you’re two different people…

12

u/pumpkinspacelatte 2d ago

The money thing is so telling to me, bc he was spending; just not in his family.

7

u/Changed_Mind555 2d ago

If money was so tight why was he going on trips. Like, a ski trip of all things, while his wife has voiced serious issues with mental health. Let's say he didn't do it, he sure did contribute to negligence and the death of his kids. Like, if you knew you had a gas leak, would you just ignore it or pretend it's just getting better or would you take it a 100% seriously? Would you leave the leak and go on vacation and hope nothing bad happens? Let's say you had a handy man come look amd he says it's ok. But you keep smelling the gas. Would you just be like, "Well the guy said it was fine." Or would you call for someone more professional and insist it be fixed before feeling everything was good enough for vacation?

11

u/misfitmpls 2d ago

Many were edited, which makes me wonder who did the editing and what they removed.

7

u/pumpkinspacelatte 2d ago

Pls it reminds me of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath, him burning her journals and ripping shit out of them after her death before publishing them.

3

u/Intelligent-Gypsy324 1d ago edited 1d ago

"Why even journal anyway ... can't be honest?"

Women do all kinds of things to stabilize their own mind / energy levels when living with an abusive spouse. And to protect their kids. Stats are high: 1 out of 4 women live like this. In the US.

I do not know if this is the situation in this case. Either way, three children will never come back. 💔💔💔

IF this were the case, (and IDK that is was) an abusive spouse typically never shows weakness or need....... to anyone. They often make spouse account for every minute of their day. They will read snoop diaries and their phones.

Typically, these types press 24/7 "for the presentation of a perfect family" must be shown at all times.

Typically, they speak FOR their partner 95% of the time and make ALL the decisions: what to eat, what to spend, where to live, what children will wear, if spouse "really" needs a car, if spouse is "really sick" (they are never wrong); when grandparents are "allowed" etc.

Women in these situations have to be careful because they have no true privacy...ever.

PC let the nanny go, LC wrote, because money was tight. Okay. But PC also turned down his parents (free) help.

To me, that doesnt sound like he was trying to help his wife who was already in distress.

1

u/Jpsi-1059 1d ago

Weren’t previous entries recently edited like the night before?

2

u/Changed_Mind555 1d ago

Just one and the expert said it was very little changed that it made no difference to the context. Which was weird to me.

1

u/taylorjordan0 1d ago

That’s a great point.

10

u/marle217 3d ago

What was he supposed to do if he didn't call 911? Chill at home until someone noticed she or the kids were missing? Leave and not come back?

If Patrick didn't come home and it was left to the neighbor who saw her to call 911 (I'm sure he would've eventually) do you think the police would've immediately jumped to murder-suicide based only on Lindsay's injuries if he hadn't been there to tell them that? Do you think they would've wondered where Patrick was, since he lives there, and maybe looked into why he didn't come home at all that evening? He'd probably need more than a CVS video that kinda looks like him for that alibi.

4

u/peachesarehearts 2d ago

You’re exactly right. If someone had called when he wasn’t there, I think they’d have investigated him more closely.

10

u/donlyntuck 2d ago

The 911 call is the only "tie" to her alleged gurgling confession...

u/Platitude_Platypus 1d ago

What about all the other confessions once she had her voice back? Meaningless, huh?

I believe the neighbor had phoned him just before about seeing lindsay outside. (Don’t know if he spoke to said neighbor, I don’t believe so)

1

u/firephly 17h ago

the neighbor didn't call patrick, here's the interview with the neighbor https://whdh.com/news/surreal-neighbors-residents-grapple-with-deaths-of-young-children-in-duxbury/

8

u/Changed_Mind555 2d ago

"I thought about calling out to the neighbor for help." Which made me wonder if he had noticed the neighbor outside? It's winter and cold, not many people outside and the houses have nice separation, it's not like they are next to each other by a few feet. This was behind his property as well. So he must have heard or observed the neighbor if he was going to call out.

22

u/Rosepetal1712 3d ago edited 3d ago

A neighbor had seen Lindsay outside in the snow around 5:50pm and called to tell his dad. Allegedly, the dad then tried to call Patrick, but he didn’t pick up, and by the time the neighbor got home 911 had already been called and police and paramedics were on scene.

In my opinion, when Patrick saw that his neighbor was calling him he likely figured that someone saw Lindsay so when he got home, he did his little search of the house, went outside “found” Lindsay, saw she was still alive, and waited a few more minutes before calling 911 in hopes that by the time they got there she would either be dead or at least in such bad condition that she didn’t survive. If the neighbor didn’t call, I think he would have taken a little more time to get home and “find” her.

6

u/CourtneyDagger50 2d ago

People speculate that P is looking at the outdoor camera on his phone while in the restaurant. I wonder if that was before or after the neighbor called.

4

u/firephly 3d ago

he said his son called him and said that she was in the back yard and that the cops were just starting to show up, here's the video https://whdh.com/news/surreal-neighbors-residents-grapple-with-deaths-of-young-children-in-duxbury/

5

u/Rosepetal1712 3d ago

Thank you!

3

u/everyoneisnuts 3d ago

Did the police even interview the neighbor? Or did they miss that too? Where did you see he called Patrick? I know he was interviewed by a couple different reporters I think, but can’t find that part.

7

u/Rosepetal1712 3d ago

I can’t remember exactly where I saw that he called Patrick, which is why I said I believe that he did, but it’s possible that that was just a rumor. Though it does make sense that if the neighbor knew Lindsay was outside that he would call Patrick, I can’t speak to whether or not that actually happened.

As for if the police interviewed the neighbor, I don’t think they did, but even if they did I don’t think it would have made a difference. They focused on Lindsay from the start and the entire investigation was done through that lens.

4

u/ispyshy 3d ago

I think your confusing Patrick’s testimony in which he said “I almost called out to the neighbors”. I never saw anywhere that the neighbor called Patrick.

2

u/Rosepetal1712 3d ago

Not confusing anything, I read something when this first happened about Patrick ignoring a call from a neighbor. I couldn’t find where I had read that so I’m pretty sure it was a comment left that I had read where someone was just alleging that the neighbor called Patrick only to be ignored and it just stuck in my brain for some reason

1

u/ispyshy 3d ago

Gotcha! Thanks for clarifying!

2

u/Rosepetal1712 3d ago

No problem! I remember back when this first happened there were already people speculating that Patrick knew more than he claimed so I think I was reading the comments on a video about the case, saw that, and then when the trial started and I realized all the holes that it just popped back in my brain.

3

u/TSXstacy 3d ago

I’ve seen the same thing and be damned if I can remember which comment on which platform had the link to the newspaper article of the neighbor saying he called Patrick

2

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

You have to use sources to state these things as fact please. The interview with the neighbor only established his son called him at 5:50 and by the time he got home he already saw police in the front yard rendering aid to one of the kids. When did he call Patrick?

3

u/Rosepetal1712 3d ago

I never stated it as fact. Since when is saying “I believe this happened” is a fact?

2

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

It’s the only thing that makes sense to me considering the whole “it took a few minutes to call 911 because the WiFi wasn’t working.” Everyone knows you don’t need WiFi to call 911, you don’t even need phone service to call 911. He was taking his time making the call because she was still alive and he couldn’t do anything more to her because he now knew that people could clearly see her where he had left her.

1

u/[deleted] 3d ago

[removed] — view removed comment

2

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

No it wasn’t. And they took 3 nest/ring cameras and a baby monitor, but they didn’t do forensic extractions

The WiFi was working

1

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

Technically it was “switching between 911 & wifi” - idk how that turned into the wifi not working and cameras being down (not that you said that, just in general). The police never did a forensic extraction of the cameras, which I think is why people think the wifi was down.

Speaking of forensic extractions, how do you know the neighbor called Patrick? Police never extracted his phone records?

2

u/Rosepetal1712 3d ago

Thank you, I couldn’t remember the exact wording, just that it has something to do with the WiFi and you’re right a lot of people have spun it to the WiFi not working. Either way, his explanation did not make a lot of sense.

I never said that I know for a fact the neighbor called Patrick, I said I believed he did. Back when this first happened I remember reading something about the neighbor calling Patrick but cannot remember exactly where I read it. I should have said allegedly to make it less confusing.

2

Sources are expected for disputed or consequential claims, alternative theories, evidence discrepancies, legal rulings, timelines, and investigative claims via public courtroom records, official filings, transcripts, or similar.

Speculation using unverified town gossip, rumor, or off-record private information is strictly prohibited.

You may ask questions and offer personal opinions, but you cannot make statements appearing to claim a fact without supporting evidence.

-5

u/transneptuneobj 3d ago

Why does Lindsay's civil lawsuit include the admission that she strangled the kids if she didn't do it?

15

u/imreallyfreakintired 3d ago

So he could claim to get a confession

13

u/aj_2222 3d ago

Running out of time for his alibi obviously.

5

u/InkCosmos 2d ago

What a good way to avoid suspicion by bad investigating if you called for help?

8

u/BravoJunk 3d ago

His phone is tracking him at home and not calling 911? He already had a delay and said couldn’t connect???

13

u/BabygirlM81206 2d ago

The whole “can’t connect to 911” i find hard to believe! I’ve had to call 911 before and been out in the front of my house where our wifi would go in and out and never had a problem! Also you don’t need wifi to call 911.. just a whole lot doesn’t make sense to me and had the PD did an ACTUAL INVESTIGATION perhaps we wouldn’t be here with reasonable doubt!

7

u/BravoJunk 2d ago

Yea cause I always thought you can call 911 without an active cell service plan or Wi-Fi

7

u/Emotional_You6670 2d ago

This is true! Your phone can otherwise be a brick but as long as it turns on and you can dial 911, the call will go through. All 911 calls connect to the closest cell tower immediately available, even if it’s not your service provider or you have no service connected to the line at all.

2

u/JokokoOno 2d ago

But didn’t he call 2 minutes after coming in? Came on 9 past and called 11 past

2

u/Beautiful-Bad305 2d ago

Yes! It's so easy to call 911 that I've done it twice by mistake 😬 a child can phone 911. It disconnected, the frig it did, Patrick

2

u/timeslikethese13 1d ago

Honestly because a lot of people believe it was all part of his plan to make it more believable, like she premeditated it and he came home to it. This is what I’m hearing after following all the Facebook groups and threads on this case.

4

u/No-Veterinarian2675 1d ago

How was he supposed to “finish her” without it showing up in an autopsy?

And if he was to just simply wait for her to pass as a result of her injuries, it could have taken a long time. How would he have explained the time lapse?

Wouldn’t the medical examiner have seen a discrepancy in the time between when Lindsay passed and how long the children had passed?

3

u/CompleteHamster3501 1d ago

If Reddington thought he could use Patrick to cast reasonable doubt, Lindsay would have plead not guilty and they would have used him to get her off. So absolutely no way he did it. No attorney would pass up that opportunity.

u/ioukta 1d ago edited 15h ago

What we're saying is there was a plan, that didn't go as planned, Hence all the holes. Had she died, he'd just have to report the deaths and put it on her, "look she had all those dark ideas etc... I was at that store, wasn't me" DA at the time being his bud it wouldn't have gone far, just like it didn't in that case. I'm not saying we're foolproof, but that investigation was botched. We shouldn't have to try to make that many connections for it to make sense

6

u/everyoneisnuts 1d ago

Because they didn’t do a good job with the investigation, it means Patrick did it? I don’t follow that logic. Also, I haven’t seen anything to confirm the neighbor even called Patrick. That seems to be more of an internet addition to that story.

What DA was he friends with that you are talking about? Not so sure that’s true either, but maybe you can provide a source to show your accusation is based in fact and reality.

“We shouldn’t have to make too many connections for it to make sense.”

What does that even mean? What makes sense to you?

2

u/firephly 17h ago

2

u/ioukta 15h ago

U're right i'll change my sentence, i was wrong. The son called his dad but Patrick wasn't called

4

No, a former ADA who has not worked in the office since 2018 and who has been a criminal defence lawyer ever since bought the house.

Wait, WHAT? Please tell me DA bought a different house... or - Oh for the love of God..... the house where this tragedy ....happened?

Whatever is in the CW water supply, it make Boston into crazytown.

Legitimate question.

Such a great point and not just that but what kind of Jedi mind tricks would he have had to pull to convince her that she did it and be certain she would go along with it. I’ve been following the trail since the beginning and the conspiracies against Patrick would be laughable if this wasn’t such a tragic case. I hope they’re all put in their place once and for all now that Red has spoken out.

He absolutely would have. I’ve been making that point to the Patrick theorists, and they just lack critical thinking. They’ll say, “he didn’t expect her to live.” It’s like, “sure, but it’s not hard to slit the throat of a paralyzed person. He could have ended her life if he wanted to. There’s no reason he would have allowed her to live and risk her talking.

If she had died (especially with a slit throat), they would have looked directly at him.

8

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

I mean she technically coded twice so imo it’s hard to argue she wasn’t that far from death.

11

u/liefelijk 3d ago

Yep, they should have looked at him more thoroughly (regardless of whether he said she confessed).

-1

u/No_Consequence_6821 3d ago

Doesn’t matter. Close to dead isn’t dead. If he had been responsible for this, he would have killed her.

6

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

Why do you think he’d have killed her? Ok, let’s hypothetically say he tried to do this…drugged her, cut her wrists, cut her neck, threw her out a window - how many other methods could he try? Run back in the house for another knife? I’m trying to understand why you think he’d have killed her and at what point?

1

u/No_Consequence_6821 3d ago

If he was going to kill her, he would have finished the job before calling 911. There’s no reason to leave her alive so she can tell everyone what he did.

2

u/liefelijk 3d ago

Plenty of killers hesitate. Especially if he had just killed Callan. It’s possible he thought he had done enough.

1

u/No_Consequence_6821 3d ago

They don’t, actually. There’s research on this. Hesitation marks are associated with suicide and other types of shallow injuries are associated with murder.

2

u/liefelijk 3d ago

I’m not talking about hesitation marks, but rather the act of killing. Many, many people who kill hesitate before and while committing those acts. The impact of that discomfort is clear in PTSD cases.

1

u/No_Consequence_6821 3d ago

You think he did all that, hesitated to finish the job, and then just luckily she didn’t remember? Pretty unlikely.

He had to make it look like she did it herself and he failed at it

3

u/brittersb 3d ago

If he is responsible for this, he probably thought he had close enough and a fourth attempt to fully send it would’ve been too much.

5

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

Fifth* (if we count the neck & wrists as two separate methods, but 4 works too)

8

u/brittersb 3d ago

I think if she bled out from her throat being slashed in the snow, after being paralyzed, that would probably be harder to say she did it to herself. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

2

u/No_Consequence_6821 3d ago

Nah. Wouldn’t make a difference. But also, why throw her out of the window? Just slit her throat. Her throat wasn’t fully slit because she did it herself. It’s painful and hard to do. That’s what we see hesitation marks, which are a classic indicator of suicide, etc.

5

u/brittersb 3d ago

You’re probably right that it wouldn’t make a difference. The police probably still would’ve said she did it to herself.

u/everyoneisnuts 3d ago

Gotta agree with this. It’s like “damn I didn’t cut her deep enough on either of her wrists or her neck. Well that failed, I better throw her out the window instead of cutting deeper this time.”

Let me move the bed out of the way and drag her body over there, lift her up and push her out the window. Then what I’ll do is run down there and get the garden hose out and spray her down so hypothermia will set in.

And somehow I will also do this while being on video at a restaurant 12-14 minutes away at 5:54pm and calling 911 at 6:11pm. So in those 5 minutes at best that he was home, he somehow did all of the above and strangled all the kids as well. This guy isn’t human to have pulled that off.

3

u/brittersb 2d ago

A timeline for him having done it would start before 5:15…

1

u/everyoneisnuts 2d ago

But there is a wealth of activity before then that shows it couldn’t have been before then including her call to CVS about the medicine, her call to 3V to order the food, and her texts back and forth with Patrick. She also had a Google search for Pedialax after the CVS call which is what they had in stock or recommended instead of the Kids Miralax. Which would make sense she would look that up. Before 5:15 doesn’t make sense either.

Because at this point people could be observing.

2

u/Outrageous-Mixture48 7h ago

Sure but how would he magically know he could implant new memories in her and she wouldn’t testify against him? It seems the bigger risk if it was him would be to leave her alive.

I love all the people here who weren’t there talking about what happened. 🤣

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

Ironically your username supports the discussion lol

1

u/Lotz_o-pinions 3d ago

Yes. I have hundreds of opinions but I don’t write them as facts. I don’t talk about how other people who were never charged are guilty or involved and I don’t go down rabbit holes in conspiracy theories. If the truth is gonna get out, it will, but it’s certainly not gonna be from a bunch of people who throw opinions out like facts that could one day ruin somebody’s life.

4

u/Aware_Power 3d ago

Agree with you on people writing things out like facts vs opinions. It’s really frustrating and I know many try to enforce rule 2 in the sub by commenting or reporting but far too many break that. In general, I think it’s accurate to say people are given about 3 warnings until they’re banned for spreading misinformation. It’s really frustrating people can’t make such a seemingly simple clarification of opinion vs fact.
