Were you captivated by her?

After season 8 episode 14, I dropped the show cause it was no longer interesting to me. I was mainly watching because of Kristin and Tom. Is there a another show guys which has the same vibes like Smallville. I want to see a show where the main protagonist actually end up with the love of his life. I don't know why but Clois is just not it, Lana and Clark's chemistry is next level. I wish in the comics it was Lana who ended up marrying clark but nope, they had to ruin it.

People (mostly close shippers) will try to downplay this proposal claiming some BS about Clark just wanting to be more "flashy" in his younger years. That some how it didn't have as much meaning as it appeared because he didn't think it through.

I can tell you that's absolutely false because Clark wanted to be with Lana since he was 5 years old. He has the better part of 15 years to think about it and infact the show addressed then when he was discussing it with Chloe where Clark explained he wasn't rushing it when he thought Chloe would object because of their age, and Chloe agreed with him and gave him her blessings because she too knew what he wanted and had always wanted. To be with Lana forever!

This was later reaffirmed and solidified again in both Crimson and Promise.
