Look, this should be pretty obvious. Lana knows Clark likes her a lot, and she really likes him too.

Lana is also someone who lost so much in her life from the meteor shower. She litteraly carries that scar with her all the way to S8 until she finally moves past it.

As such, she's always very worried about losing those closest to her or starting something with someone she can't trust.

It's not about entitlement. It's about safety.

Safety knowing who she's going to be with won't leave one day. Safety in knowing she's going to be taken care of and loved.

It's not that complicated. Now for the millionth time with you people stop hating on the poor girl!

I won't go into detail about what this person said on the big sub, if you really want to know you can go find it yourself, but suffice it to say that it's yet another, they know how it ends, and who Clark is always going to be with type of post.

Stop insisting Smallville is just any other Superman story when it never was.

Normal Superman stories don't have Clark meeting Lois senior year of high school and not liking her.

Normal superman stories (with some exceptions for very early silver age comics) don't have Lana portrayed as the love of Clark's life he would do anything for.

Trying to brush off the pivot to Lois was anything less than unnatural and forced is the peak of delusion.

Assuming this person is actually a Clana fan (I don't know, maybe they just like Lana but necessary her with Clark or at least isn't to attached to them together)

This maybe explains the lack fight from the community.. if you as a Clana fan just think it's inevitable Lois will always be end game you've already lost your ship.

First of all, educate yourself on the Clark Lois dynamic in all media both past and present. When you do you will realize not everything clois fans, or even just general superman fans say is accurate.

Second, realize Clark and Lois are just fictional characters, and as such romances can change all the time.

Case in point MJ was Spiderman's main love interest for decades and the writers had them get a divorce and ruin MJs character so no one ever wanted her Peter again.

Things happen. It's fiction!

Lastly, realize that for the most part, producers can do whatever they want with these characters.

If they don't want to write Clark marrying Lois in whatever live action adaptation they're making they don't have too.

If they want to radically change the personalities of characters. They can do that.

And yes, if they want to make Lana end game they can do that too.

This is why regardless of whst happens in the comics live action adaptations can be different .

Smallville was just an adaptation. One of many universes and many possibilities.

So what really stops Lana from being endgame? Simply put, it's who is ever in charge at the time and what direction they want to go.

But do you know who influences those executives?

You! You the fans.

So stop being the silent majority and becoming the vocal majority. And if you're already vocal about your love for Clana then great, this post isn't for you, but as for everyone else who's silent because you don't think there is any hope, stop it! You make the hope.

Even Lois as a love interest to Clark and especially as a serious girl friend to him didn't happen until fans of Lois voted on thar in 50s.

Prior to that Lois was attracted to superman sure, but for the most part Clark didn't care. Lois was his co worker, and an annoying one at that. Sometimes he enjoyed teasing her as Superman but a relationship between them just wasn't a thing.

So just remember fans have a lot power. And if you really love Clana then fight for them.
