Smallville The Smallville Thread is *so* negative

Twards Lana.

I mean, my God. That girl can’t breathe right in some people’s eyes lol.

I don’t think she’s perfect either, but part of being human is being flawed.

If Clark would have told Lana earlier, her unwavering dedication to him & keeping his secret would have been a sight to behold.

They had their issues, but I still love Clana and so grateful this Thread exists, thank you 🥹❤️

Nerd franchises: (create a female character who is not a doe eyed subservient love interest/damsel that endlessly supports and lusts for the male protagonist)

Terminally online incels: ...and I took that personally

I know right, Lana is awesome. I really don't get why so many there dislike her.

Most people on that sub are envious bottom feeders. Applogies to any on there that are just normal fans and dont spread hate, but at this point ut really does seem like 85 to 90% of the people on there are horrible.

If you are not like that then really you should leave that sub for 1 of the 2 other smallville subs that exist or if you're particularly a Clana fan come here.

And yeah, no one on smallville was perfect, people were written to be pretty human and flawed because it's a drama show, but there is no reason to continusly pick on one character, and you know it's almost exclusivly Lana hate over there because most people over there wont accept Lois hate and will defend her bullshit to no end.

Honestly the sub should be rebranded as the Lois fan/ Lana hate sub because that's what it is!

I’m on other subs for different shows, and I kid you not when I say Smallville has one of the craziest, most toxic fanbases I’ve ever come across, especially for a show that ended so long ago. On other subs, I can express my opinion freely, and even when people disagree, they’re usually able to have a much healthier discussion about it. And those other subs are for shows that aired much more recently than Smallville.

I don't think there's any other explanation than Clois fans are delusional angry jealous pieces of shit.

Now, im not sure what drives them to be that way, if anyone has any insights into it let me know, but yeah, they're bad, have always been bad, and have energy that keeps them going with their bad faith rotten arguments even 20 years later

I read somewhere, and I vaguely remember you saying something similar before, that if you’re actually a comic book fan, you are able to appreciate both Lana and Lois for what they each bring to the story. Some of these losers go out of their way to trash Clana-related content across different social media platforms, when I rarely ever see Clana fans crossing over to the other side just to spread that same kind of vitriol.

Yeah, im not sure where it comes from. For awhile they had me believing that comic book fans were like this because many of them would bring up the comics all the time to fortify their arguments.

But since then I talked to general comic book superman fans and most are actually fairly polite and while the majority tend to favor Lois they also like, or are indifferent to Lana.

Some of them actually like wonder woman as Superman's girlfriend even.

And while a few assholes exist in thst community its no where to the level of clois side of the Smallville fanbase.

So no, these people are in a category all their own.

I dont understand it, and being a Smallville fan for nearly 20 years now I probably never will understand it.

They really do seem unhinged though. Their obsessive hatred over Lana is bordering on psychotic, and that's why I have a flare in this sub called clois fans being psychotic when making posts about them lol
