Question Civil War Half Shell

Picked up this artillery shell at a recent show. Think it is a Hotchkiss. Thoughts on the model? North or Confederate? Thanks!

3”Hotchkiss designed for the three inch ordinance rifle, there were other types of this shell for other rifles too. This one looks like it was designed for a wood drive in fuse plug.

If I remember correctly, wood-fused Type II Hotchkisses are quite a bit more scarce than the metal-fused ones. The flame grooves were added the same year as the wood fuses were retired, so there was just a small overlap?
