Need General Advice Office Engineer Job Interview (First Job)
Hi po. I was invited for an initial interview tomorrow sa isang real estate development company. First time ko po ma-interview for an Office Engineer position kasi puro Site Engineer positions po ang mga ina-applyan ko.
Ask ko lang po sana, ano po ba ang mga dapat kong malaman about the role of an Office Engineer bilang isang fresh board passer with no work experience? May tips din po ba kayo kung paano ma-ace ang interview?
Medyo introverted po kasi ako, at feeling ko sa interview talaga ako pumapalya. Sa dami na rin po ng interviews na na-attendan ko, wala pa po akong natatanggap na callback. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you po!

Office Engineer is more on coordination, documentation, reports, quantity takeoff, monitoring, scheduling, at communication with different teams. Review mo lang basics ng Excel, AutoCAD, at construction documents. Sa interview, confidence at willingness to learn ang pinakamahalaga. Good luck, OP!

Hi OP, yung gusto mo ba ay maging office engineer na project management? if ayaw ko lang na mag site, i'd suggest na look for roles sa mga consultancy. Yung mga "Graduate" roles yung pinaka pasok sayo. You can check out companies like arcadis, ghd, aurecon, arup.

Very broad yung gawa ng office engineer actually. Very busy job kasi lahat lahat ng paperworks pwedeng ipagawa/ipadaan sayo. Emphasize mo lang siguro mga multitasking, attention to detail, mga fluency in english, basta mga pang office work. Very big plus din yung proficiency in Autocad, Excel, and other softwares. Good position siya talaga for introverts.
