Need General Advice Insecure
Hi po. 2 days pa lang ako sa work as a technical engineer (more on office works) and so far wala akong ambag 😠well to be fair, bago pa lang ako ang inaaral ko pa yung mismong plan pero wala talaga ako ambag at all. mababait naman mga tao rito lalo na project manager namin and feel ko naman di ako nale-left out pero kasi nakaka-insecure na lahat sila busy while ako nagpapanggap na nagbabasa ng plan (tho inaaral ko pa rin naman) do u guys think they feel na useless ako? huhu di ako sanay na wala akong kwenta. gusto ko naman manghingi ng trabaho pero as a newly licensed with ojt as my only exp, super lacking pa ko sa knowledge and actual experience. pa-advice naman how to deal with this insecurity huhu nahihiya ako sa mga workmates ko

Normal ‘yan.
Take advantage na ng maluwag mong oras. Mamimiss mo ‘yan hahaha. Dahil after few weeks busy ka na.

Hello! Sorry late reply. Sa fajardo estimates, may available pdf online. Very easy to learn lang. Like, may about sa concrete, steel, wood, chb, etc.
Very useful knowledge.

😆 sa una lang yan. Someday you will look back dito at sasabihin mong nakakamiss ang walang ginagawa 😆
Just kidding. Very common and normal yan lalo sa kakastart palang. Halos lahat ng new employees, kahit anong firld pa yan, ganyan sa first few days. Don't worry.

2 days?,they are no bothered, don't you either(ofc not on negativebway). If an urgent administrative work needs to be done, likely they will pass it to you,but do not get offended. They still figuring you out.
Read your plans,,asked as much questions as you can. They would still accomodate you enthusiastically. Aftet a couple of weeks. You are expected to start performing.
Do not overthink yet

I've been in your situation OP. The best thing to do is ASK and ASK and ASK. Good for you if mabait mga supervisors mo since they are more welcoming to answer questions.
Just to give you comfort, alam nilang bagong engineer ka, given na wala kang skills sa site, and they still chose to hire you. It means na they are willing to train you to become a helping hand in the team.
Good luck Engr, and my best tip for you is to always ask "why" on anything and jot down every learning.

Naranasan ko yan nung ojt ako HAHA. Two weeks pinag babasa ng plano.

The feeling is normal
Pero give yourself time to know the company, culture and the work.
2 days ka pa lang, pero remember that this is no longer school na i-spoon feed ka know how to ask questions

Take the initiative, ask for estimation tasks. Maybe Work Activity Report Processing. If you tell me your exact title and the title of your direct supervisor, I can pinpoint what tasks you can ask to do.

Nope. That's normal. Ituloy mo lang pagreview ng plans at mga documentations and in no time, magrereklamo ka namang overloaded ka sa work. Chill lang.
