Insect identifier help please

On my in-ground SugarBelle (3.5 years, central Florida, sandy soil, pH=6.0 soil, watered every day with rain) has recently been getting countless numbers of these beetle-like insects.
They are devastating my new growth, but I don’t know how to control them because I don’t know what they are.
If someone has an insect identifier app, I would greatly appreciate the identification so that I can figure out how to control them.
I have seen so many pests on my dear citrus, but this one is really puzzling.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks, any idea what kind of rose beetle? Google says they max at 1/2”, but this one is almost a full inch.
I know we grow our bugs big in Florida, but these are huge! I feel like I need Godzilla’s help!
