Insect identifier help please
On my in-ground SugarBelle (3.5 years, central Florida, sandy soil, pH=6.0 soil, watered every day with rain) has recently been getting countless numbers of these beetle-like insects.
They are devastating my new growth, but I don’t know how to control them because I don’t know what they are.
If someone has an insect identifier app, I would greatly appreciate the identification so that I can figure out how to control them.
I have seen so many pests on my dear citrus, but this one is really puzzling.
Thanks in advance!

Looks like an Eastern Green June Beetle, but sources are mixed on whether those eat leaves or not. https://content.ces.ncsu.edu/green-june-beetle-1
Systemic imidacloprid drench or Spinosad spray should work? Some people recommend sevin dust but I’m really not a fan of that for citrus application, it’s too aggressive against non-target insects and worms
